At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

He looked a little shocked, and to be perfectly honest, Blaze didn't blame him one little bit. After all, she had just fallen into the lake, showing a obvious lack of grace and co-ordination that was generally associated with their type. He lowered his eyes in a gesture fairly similar to her own, and for the shortest time she just let silence fall between them, silently berating herself. Once more, she found herself discreetly checking her appearance, trying to figure out how she could subtly make herself look more like a confident majestic wolfess, as opposed to a drowned rodent. It was a pretty embarrassing experience for the girl, and she was subconsciously trying to make herself less awkward, and failing miserably.

Though his auds had perked slightly at the end of her words, still nothing was said, and her portals momentarily gazed out across the forest line, gauging to see how far she'd have to run to never be seen again. If she ran however, she risked the chance of meeting this particular male at another point in her life, and adding even more graceless behaviour to the pile of what he had seen from her so far. Finally, she was given a lucky break. ”My apologies miss. I, ummm, I never meant to startle you.” Taking a shot in the dark, she peeked up at his own face, gauging his reaction. He seemed kind of...distant. A lot like Cai had been when Blaze had first met her. Gathering a few more shreds of her trampled courage, she squeaked out,"T-the apologies are all mine. My bad-not yours."

”I'm Hachi and I guess I'm okay.” His words also held that far off, stoic tone to them, and she nearly flinched. Obviously he did not want to talk to such a visibly flawed femme such as herself, and she wasn't going to force him to. In fact, he probably hated her guts. After all, he'd just tried to be friendly, and she had caused a scene. Blaze felt guilt at imposing herself on his company, and suddenly she attempted to make herself a lot smaller. "Oh, that's good." She managed to get the lyrics across her kissers, barely more than a whisper. This wasn't going anywhere any time fast.

Slipping back to give Hachi some personal space, she backed up clumsily and came to rest back against the base of the stone that had caused her so much trouble. Blaze was also finding herself staring slightly more intently now, almost similar to the way a mouse reacts when a bird of prey flew overhead. And she got the joy of being the prey. "Sorry," she muttered again, feeling like she was negating the worth of his time. After all, it wasn't like she was overly interesting or pretty or popular or smart. She shivered slightly, feeling a cold breeze brush against her damp pelt. This was going to be a long day.

weaving words.
