Yes, my parents named us all odd things. And I suppose it wasn't necessarily a bad thing I did, we wouldn't be talking right now if it weren't for it. Kahlan smiled at the brute. His name wasn't odd, just different. "Does it have a meaning? And how many siblings did you have? I have but one..." Kahlan ceased conversation, trying to stop the flow of emotions that came each time she brought up her lost family. They were all gone, save Henadin. Luckily, she caught herself just in time before her orbs even began to water.

They ate in silence, each enjoying the snack of a morsel that laid before them on the softened shore. After they finished and the femme began to clean herself, she caught glimpses of azure orbs peering at her from the brute who was following suit. The silence continued, the pairs' only sound being the continual lapping of their tongues against their pelts. It was she who broke the silence first, inquiring as to his reasons for being present in Blossom Forest. After she had silenced herself, the brute had sighed before opening him maw to respond.

I’ve just arrived in the forest, so I do not know many of these places. I now see that wolves come here looking for love. That was not my intention; I just wanted a good ol’ fish. The silver colored brut had paused and Kahlan's persona sobered by the thought that his apparent attraction to her was a farce. He had carried on in his monologue, however, and calmed her thoughts. Do not get me wrong, however, it does not mean I do not wish for love. As for the forest… I’m in search of my two lost siblings, but I do not think they will be here. I’m not going to leave this place, it’s paradise compared to the outside world. The russeted femme bit back a laugh at his first sentence, gladdened that the flirtatious manner in which he had been speaking was true to form. But as he continued on she quieted. "I hope dearly that you find your siblings, Andúin. I know what it is like to be without family." She didn't offer forth any further information. The time was not right to bring up such a morose topic.

Luckily for her, he continued the conversation, steering it into a different direction. I noticed a quite beautiful cliff near a mountain… It would be great if a lovely wolf like you could accompany me. Perhaps we could talk more then. So he had found Rainbow Cliff in the short amount of time that he had been within Blossom Forest? It was one of her favorite places in all of the lands, especially when there was a clear view. “I would love to accompany you… lead the way.” She flashed him a small smile and then followed behind him, the fish that had been flung in the bushes completely forgotten.
