Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.
Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Going numb all over I wonder if I will just stay here. And let the sea of white take me over. I came here for a reason. To let the snow take away the pain. To make me become numb. I just don't want to feel so broken anymore. It wasn't my intention to come here and die. But the cold seems kind of welcoming, in a weird way. More and more white flakes begin to pile up on my pelt bringing more and more numbness as they pile up. I didn't even notice when my teeth began to chatter. I'm scared to die. But the real question is, am I more scared to live? I want to be with my son. The few moments we spent together.. He was beautiful. Lost in my thoughts and the sound of the wind, I can barely hear the faint sound of snow crunching underneath paws. I open my eyes as I start to hear lyrics pour out of the feyes mouth. Her name is Kahlan. She wants to know if I'm okay. She's an adult. Maybe she can help me through this? But how could I ask so much from a stranger. It would be rude. But then again I was going to sit here and let myself freeze to death. Who knows. "I'm not physically damaged.. If that's what your asking." I breathe really hard. Being in the cold this long is making it hard to get air to my lungs. "But I'm definitely not okay." I slowly stand up shivering. Shaking what snow I can off of my fur. "I'm Rara Belleza. I hate to be a bother really." My ears naturally lay down a little on top of my head. "You're a pack wolf aren't you?" I manage to ask softly. |
