The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

I move along the border, doing my duties as usual as I try to put some form of normal back into the daily routine. Everything's been fucked up by that girl who got lost from Saw Tooth and just had to have her puppies in my den. Now it's desecrated in my opinion and I refuse to return to it until the stench of her after birth is completely clear. The good thing is that I have a perfect place to stay and it comes with the bonus of a very handsome companion. Marx and I have caught on fire as of late, our relationship only heightening since the big flood that threatened to take out Abendrot in its entirety. I've been tending his wounds to the best of my knowledge since I've not healing training at all but he's been healing me in his own way, repairing the wounds of betrayal he left when he disappeared so many months before.

The walls are built back up now and I'm back in my prime, no longer broken or damaged goods. I'm fit as a fiddle and ready to do my duties, ready to be the General that Kershov made me to be. I move like a wraith through the underbrush, my porcelain coat hard to blend but with practice, I can be silent as a ghost. I move along toward the fresh scent of a new arrival, peering through the trees and shadows with the brightest of blue and green. A black shadow awaits, his form seeming to melt out of nowhere and not a call leaves his lips. Good, I like a silent arrival. My lips quirk up a little as I move forward silently, appearing before him as my tail curls teasingly around my flanks.

"No talking until you're on your back. Only then do I want to know your name and intentions."

My voice is smooth as honey and yet tinged with authority, something not to be trifled with. I won't hesitate to take his figure to the ground if he doesn't go willingly and don't think I'll hesitate cause he's a male or bigger than me. This is my home and the only wolf I answer to is Kershov himself.
