Sorry, I couldn't help myself xD The meet up of old enemies? Bahaha, unless you want them to be strangers. Doesn't matter to me ^^
I move through the underbrush with a new limp to my step, tidings from the battle with Keilani I just got back from. She gave it her all and I've got the scars to prove it, but I won. I cracked the bitch's skull for coming after this pack. I think she'll think better of it next time. For my work, I managed to come away with a fractured back leg and other bites and markings but the leg is by far the worst. I snarl every time I forget and put weight on it but with the constant throbbing, it's kind of hard to forget. I move as stealthily as possible through the foliage, knowing that my movement will be hampered for a while but I am still proud, none the less. Queens will return and when she does, she will remember who fought for her in her absence. She has been the queen since I joined so many years ago and if it's up to me, she'll be the queen till kingdom come. She's the only wolf I've ever been able to pledge loyalty to and I plan to keep it that way.
I come across a new stench and move toward it, ears pricking as my lips curl back, revealing white pearls still stained with the dried blood of my opponent. I haven't had time to bathe yet, havin just gotten back from the clearing but I'm sure she won't mind. It isn't long till I an spy the one I'm headed toward, a slender thing with a porcelain coat and a rich crimson stripe on her back. She'll definitely stand out here. The only crimson stained wolves in Malignant are the brood of Queens, her litter from Sidorio and Arcadian, that is. Perhaps everyone will think they're related. I smirk at the thought, moving forward until the shadows unveil my presence to her. I hold my head high, my tail arching proudly over my back to reveal my rank of Beta. Golden eyes burn into her own as a rough voice escapes my lips.
Drop to your spine and speak your name if you want to take another breath on this earth, doll.
