PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

ALICE
SING, IF YOU REALLY THINK IT’S WORTH SAVING ME

Alice cannot empathize with Morena. She has no idea what the draft mix is feeling. Although she does posses sympathy. Alice had never lost something dear to her. Sure, she was no longer with her family, but that had been a decision that she made on her own, she had chosen to leave, to find another place to live. Nothing had driven her out, her family was still alive and well, as far as she knew. Though Alice did doubt if something were to happen to her parents she would not hear about and if she did it would not be until many years later.

When Morena returns a smile Alice is delighted. She speaks of her brother and Alice feels some envy towards the mare. She had wanted a brother and this girl had one whether or not he was present, at least she had one. But the envy quickly passes as Alice moves closer to the girl. “Maybe he will come and visit?” Alice says, ending the statement with a higher tone to her voice, leaving it open as a question for the girl.

Always optimistic.

Did she live here? Alice smiles shyly in response to the question. “I am not sure. I would like to, I have been here for a couple of days, so maybe I do,” she says and tilts her head slightly as she voices her thoughts out loud. Yes, maybe this was her home now. The place was entirely female, they could be her sisters. Alice could have sisters. And suddenly she nods her head to the female. Yes, yes she did live here.
