News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

RAINBOW was not the kind to sleep for hours on end. She was a girl that had the energy of a spitfire, and she was either on or off. RAINBOW functioned better with little naps throughout the day, and it was rare to see her sleep for more than 2 hours at a time. There was a lot to day, anyway. Lots of play was to be had, at all times of day or night. Night was fun for different reasons than day. The colors were different! And they were very pretty colors, like blacks and grays and blues and such. RAINBOW loved all the colors, and she loved running around in the middle of the night.

RAINBOW was up in the dead of night. Her periwinkle eyes opened wide as her small body began to uncurl from her sleeping state. There isn't a long moment of stillness with her. She immediately pops herself up, that unforgettable smile on her face as she stretches out her small frame. Her tail was already going to work, wagging happily at the start of another wake cycle. This was the time when a lot of others were sleeping, and she wasn't allowed to bother them. They never wanted to play during their sleep, never! RAINBOW usually spent this time with the night creatures, the other friends of hers who were not wolves. Bugs! RAINBOW did not know the bugs didn't exactly enjoy her company, but she considered them all friends anyway.

The blue-grey girl then wandered out of her den, the moonlight illuminating her multi-colored fur, mixtures of white and black scattered at various points around her compact frame. Her fur was fluffy, and only getting more so as the days began to cool off for fall. Fall was a fun time, but really, when was it not a fun time? RAINBOW enjoyed the changing colors of the leaves, and then playing in piles of them. There was a lot to do in winter, and RAINBOW had big plans for this night. The little female began bouncing at random, her direction chosen simply by the dim light and what she could see. She had a smile on her face as she trotted happily throughout the grass. She honestly didn't know what she was going to do. Life was always one gigantic mystery to the girl. Calista and her adorable puppies were probably sleeping, and she wandered up to their den to see any signs of life before bouncing away once again. Oh well. RAINBOW could have fun even without her friends!

Her periwinkle eyes looked up at the mountains above, and to her surprise, she was a figure move! The small girl paused, looking up to see Kavik move to lay down. He was quite a distance away, but that wasn't going to stop RAINBOW from investigating someone awake at night. Maybe they would play night tag with her! RAINBOW yipped happily to herself as she then dashed on her short legs. She was surprisingly fast for how small and...well, pudgy she is. RAINBOW, though innocent in mind, was a compact beast. Her constant movement and action made her body have thick, hardened muscles. They were hidden under her fluffy coat, and under a layer of fat that seemed to refuse to go away after each litter she bore. Her little legs ran with all of their might, racing towards the way to the high cliff. RAINBOW knew quite well how to get up there, she had done it many times. In fact, RAINBOW knows this pack like the back of her paw, with how much she plays in every little corner.

It was quite a bit of time for RAINBOW to get from the den area to the cliff, but she made it! Her periwinkle eyes glimmer in the dim light as she searched for the mysterious figure that she swore she saw. It was dark though, and the wolf was a black one. It was like finding a shadow! She yipped happily, excited at the prospect of hide-and-go-seek with an unsuspecting victim. Luckily, RAINBOW did know how to use her nose, and after a few moments she caught the scent. Ha! He thought he could hide from her! She giggled wildly, paws lifting high before landing on the ground again as she bounced towards the scent. The scent was...interesting, it was strong, but there was...blood? RAINBOW smelt blood, and blood often came with playing too hard. Soon, the moonlit girl came upon the black wolf, laying on his belly. Her tail wagged madly behind her as she raced up to him, stopped at his face. She leaned her muzzle down to lick his muzzle, for RAINBOW knew not of personal space.

"Hi! Hi! You are awake at night, and I am awake at night, and I was playing hide and seek with you because you are black like a shadow, and I found you in the dark! Yes! I have found you! But I think you were playing too hard because I smelt your blood, and why are you bleeding? I still smell it, you must have played very hard!" she spoke quickly, her words cheery and happy. After she spoke her words, her eyes began to run over his body, and she began to walk around him. She knew not that he needed help quite yet, only that he smelled of blood from playing too hard. She had to investigate him further!
