News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

This boy was...different than when I first met him. His ear pin back simply at hearing my voice. Is that really all it is going to take to get him to crack? Speaking to him in a calm, concise manner? I mean, I do have a beautiful voice, one that is also dark and deadly...and I am rather firm, this I know. But really? Does his Mother not speak with firmness? There is no room to allow a puppy to go without a firm voice. Puppies can be annoying little creatures, stupid in many ways. Many, many ways. I do not remember being as dumb as many of the puppies I have seen, and I almost refuse to believe that I was ever that dumb. No, I remember being very young when I understood the concept of how everlasting large and small the universe is. I question is this boy before me even knows anything beyond the general vicinity of his den. I am tired of this boy staying completely ignorant. I will fix this, since no one else has the gall to do it.

This boy, was a bit slower than I thought he should be. This is supposed to be MY apprentice, and he needs to be a lot fast than that. In fact, he hardly even reacted to me at all. He allowed me to smack him and hold him down with his paw, and by allowed, I mean he was too...ignorant to do otherwise. This is something that would need to be fixed. He even yelped in surprise, and this was totally no act. He was genuine in his actions. It was obvious with him, oh so obvious. I can tell his dislikes my actions, but that is the god damn point. He was sticking his little demon nose where it wasn't supposed to be, and I am not so kind as to allow it to happen unpunished. Maybe, if he gets on my good side, I will let him in on some little secret, but he will damn well earn it. I linger over him with my fangs exposed, with his head under my paws. Yes, his little head could be completely cracked if I so desired it. Yet, I am so kind as to let him live. The boy even dares to let a growl out at me, and snap my silvery fangs at his muzzle, never touching, but it is sure to make him uncomfortable. Good. He needs to be uncomfortable. He needs to never let his guard down. Even in these moments, I am training him if he knows it or not. Hopefully, his mind knows to translate what he learned with me to everyone. Sure, he will know to watch out for MY paw next time, but what about someone else? I think he may be a bit too...trusting. I will have to see.

I lifted my paw and the boy seemed to listen to the things I said to him. He wiped that awful smile off of his face. He sat up straight. He kept his god damn mouth shut. Good. I need my apprentice to pay attention to my ever word, and to do it when I tell him to. He better be obedient, if for any reason, because I am the only one who will interact with him. I am the only one willing to train him, willing to give him my attention and the light of day. Me, of all wolves, the one who actually dislikes being in a pack to begin with, but deals with it for the advantages it brings to me. I do my own thing, and I am no slave to Isola. So yes, I may be taking advantage of my...position in terms of this boy, but why would I not? I saw the potential in the boy that night he annoying skipped into my den and attempted to bite me. This, however, was not that same boy, despite the fact that it was. Okay, so it is confusing. I apparently have a two-in-one package here, and this boy right now is Elijah. I wonder if Ego would have been a bit...better at dodging my attacks, not smiling like a dumb ass, and sitting right. If I find this Elijah displeasing, I may have to find a way to lure out Ego. I will be kind and just though, and allow this Elijah a chance.

My copper eyes stay rested on the boy. They may seem dark and uncaring as I gaze down upon him, taking in his...puzzled looks from my task. My ears flick towards him, hearing him ask where he is going to get a moose. I only allow a small smirk to touch my beautiful dark features. I can tell that he dislikes it. I almost enjoy watching him squirm in discomfort. I may give him a heartless look, my soulless stare that I have mastered so easily. Apparently, this boy doesn't realize he needs to think for himself. I want a self-sustaining creatures to work with, not some needy puppy that sticks to my paws. I breed independence, and I guide when I need to. I need him to think, and I also need him to use others. This is exactly the trick. He just needs a push, shove, or hell even to be thrown right into the fray. He continues to speak, saying how he can't carry moose antlers. Boo hoo. My face stiffens up, as my body straightens up even more as I look down upon him. I lift my head a little, lifting a single brow at him.

"Nemo vos non potestis portare alces gestantem, possis? Non nibh at Elias. Instar is sicco. Habes septem elucescat. Habitaculum meum ad te antea arbitror."
(No, you cannot carry moose antlers, can you? Too bad. I am not here to help you, Elijah. Figure it out. You have seven dawns. I expect to see you at my den before then. )

I keep my gaze upon the boy for a moment, before I turn so gracefully to leave. I only take a step or two in the dying grass before halting my gorgeous and strong frame, turning my head to look back upon him once again. I allow a smile to gently touch my lips. Yes, a nice little smile just for him.

"Discipule mi, a vobis spero magna. Non me fefellit."
(My apprentice, I expect great things from you. Do not disappoint me.)

I let my copper gaze stare at him, into his emeralds if he allows. I will then turn to leave, my steps so lovely. I then begin to hum a tune, a tune so deep and dark. A tune that I like to hum to myself with my hauntingly beautiful voice. Let it be a voice that lingers in his head, even stronger than the one that lingers there now. I will walk until I disappear into the shadows, blending into darkness where I truly belong. Let us see with my Elijah can do.
