Ivan and crew, WOW! What a run! I drove up with Susane from Vancouver ...she couldn't believe what 20 dollars got her...the great T short, the run, the draw prizes, the food....it was so neat to see it through the eyes of someone completely fresh. So often we can take things for granted.
A lot of love goes into your run and it shows. It was nice to see the old guard, Ewen, Pam, Rick, Jamie, Bev, Judy, Francis, Clayton, Ken and all the Mikes! It was terrific to watch the newbies do their thing...and do it so well! The volunteers were spectacular....they said to me a few times, " you look really good." Then I remembered this expression is often used at Island wakes when viewing the remains! All together a top shelf event. PS Mike Meacher you are an inspiration...you made my day.
