Ah if I knew what went through his mind I think I would die of laughter. Aether is the epitome of fool, yet I do not think that is where it ends. I know there is something deeper within him despite the carefree façade he displays. I feel it within my bones and if I learned nothing from my shamaness sister it is to trust my instincts. He speaks and my grin wavers. ”Not enough if you ask me. Like you said it is a lot of land and I must fill it. I must have it bustling with life.” It is true. We held some youth yet it was nothing compared to some of the other packs. I needed it to grow. I needed the pack members to mingle and get to know each other. It seemed that none wanted to spend time with each other except the youth and I was at lost oh how to fix it. Yet before my mood could get too dark his boisterous laugh and next comment brought a beaming smile to my face. ”Now I could not disagree with that. Although my dear Rhoedias would skin me should she catch me eyeing the local eye candy.” I shake my head thinking about my fiery mate. He speaks more, answering my question well enough. I do not speak at first, sensing that he will continue and I am rewarded for my patience. ”Oh if you only knew the half of it.” I laugh, a deep rumbling sound, finally relaxing in his presence. ”I’m not going to beat around the bush, we need wolves that can help build pack morale. I have yet to really see them mingling and it saddens me.” I pause a devilish gleam coming to my eyes. ”So you will back me with anything I need huh? Even when it comes to distracting a pissy alpha female?” I pause before laughing. ”How about drawing miss Alana out of her hole. She seems awfully shy.” And she did, or would you say that she was lost? ”Any ideas or suggestions so far? I am open to pretty much anything. How do you feel about the others so far?” I really wanted to know how he felt so far. Okay so maybe I didn’t know the half about leading so his input would help me get on the right track. Turning toward him I watch his features before slowing my paws. We are close to the bridge Pan showed me earlier that connects the mainland to the island. It was a magnificent creation of stone, driftwood, and mud. One that testifies to the greatness of his mind for I would have never thought of something like that. ”You know Pan built that. Amazing isn’t it.” I was proud of him, and eager to see what else he created in that mind of his. ”Say Aether I think I hunt would help rally us?
