During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

That was it, and the story was shattered. It was hard, so very hard for her to hear him speak as if he loved her. No one could love her for in her mind, love was weak. It got you nothing but heartbreak which she knew of firsthand. Nothing could be said. No matter how much she wished to speak, no matter how much her words wished to rise to the surface, she swallowed them down. She felt foolish, inadequate and naïve in that moment and therefor she had run. Life was a hard thing to live and only the strongest survive. She has had to face the darkest depths of hell, face the most grotesque beats known to man and still, she feared rejection from the one she craved the most. Weakened, that was exactly what she was in this situation, now she was moving, even leaving the pack for the moment being to get a break. For days she and Exodus moved until he had moved on. She couldn’t take another step, couldn’t simply abandon the male from Munashii. Words were spoken, love shared and the dark being had moved from her like a wraith. Once again, her brother was gone and for now, she was alone.

Returning had been easier than she thought actually. Her movements had been swift, calculated as she moved closer and faster to the border. She knew where she was going, could find her home with her eyes closed. As she ran, her eyes remained open, those elegant jades searching for the tree she rested at when she had first met him. The snowy titan had set her on fire right then and there and just the thought of him sent her heart sky high. Still, she feared that this was too much for him, that her constant running and deserting would create a barrier. If only he would let her stay, then, she promised to never leave again. One chance, one more and then she would prove herself. It was all up to him.

His scent, Serris’ and others fill her nose and the pale girl slides to a stop. Her mouth spreads as oxygen flows into her strained lungs. A pause as her audits perk up, she catches her breath, holding it as she strains to hear. Nothing. No one. It felt empty here, vacant and a sadness swells within her. What if he isn’t even here? She shakes out her crème pelt, jades flicking this way and that as she moves under the watchful gaze of the sun above. Silently so does she moves, searching for anyone but mostly, searching for him. Everyday that she was away, she felt like she was dying. Even though she was here, she still felt like pieces of her were breaking off slowly. She needed to find him, now.

How long the ghost wanders she did not know. For too long she moves and finally, she comes to a stop. Defeated, abandoned she falls to the ground, her body stretching as she simply lays there, eyes closed. For the shortest of moments, she is still and then, the musk enters her nares. Aindreas. Her gaze flashes open and she lifts her head from the earth. Her ears perk with hope and then she sees him. The pale soldier looks so contrast to the darkening horizon. Her breath catches and she watches him for a moment, unsure that he is really there. Her jades never move from him, never blink. Then she is rising, running and throwing her body at him. Desperate for connection, for that burning touch of his to prove that he is truly there. There she crumbles into him, meshing their pelts together as she inhales deeply. His scent fills her, covers her and she closes her eyes.

Awakening. The girl lifts herself from the ground, turning her head to focus her attention to the area of which he resided. Nothing, no one. It had been but a dream. Her heart tears and she falls once more to the earth, a groan escaping her lips. Here she will die, never eating, never moving, barely breathing. No scent, no presence. She is alone in this moment, feeling like the world is falling out from under her. If this is what dying felt like, she hoped it would be faster.
