Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Felan

Once again the troop was moving. An almost inaudible sigh escaped the bruteling’s throat as his parents hurried the two along and away from the strange looking male that had discovered them. Curiosity had begged the lad to find out more about the wolf, filling up the cup that was just about empty. Experiences like these would help him grow and he wanted nothing more than to learn about the world around him so he could hate it and further extend his list. His mother, unsurprisingly, had taken offence to the odd looking creature whereas his father had screamed out in fear. Kyron had turned like this many other times before but the pup had no idea why. He did not know much about his parent’s past apart from the little bits he had overheard in private conversations, but truthfully he didn’t really understand. Sometimes his small naive brain would wonder if his trembling sister suffered from the same illness his father did but he had no need to ask, nor did he want to, as long as he was there to keep them both safe nothing else mattered. For the briefest of seconds the pup had felt relief at the thought that the field may have actually become home for the family. It would have been a great happiness if they had never had to travel, or run, from anything ever again but at the entrance of the legged wolf they had scarpered once again.

As per usual Felan walked closely by his sister’s side. Ever since he could remember he had stuck close to his sibling protecting her from the monsters that snapped at her heels. Though he could not see them, he knew that they were all too real for his sister and he would do anything he could to save her. There tight-knit bond grew stronger with each passing day and though they were still small and vulnerable Felan would put his life on the line to safeguard the fearful ess. Their paws walked in sequence as they found themselves plodding along behind their father once again. Even though he was short of vision, he seemed to be the leader in every expedition not that the young male really cared. He always fell into place at his siblings side and so had no time for leading or making decisions.

’It's good once again, but still, we have to keep an eye out. Do you want to go to the top of the mountain, or..?’ Felan’s attention refocused on his father as his lyrics caused his auds to twitch. The terra beneath the brujo’s paws was begging to change from flowers to rough, uneven ground to snow and ice covered terrain. The cold nipped at his pads the further they walked and suddenly the male realised that they were heading somewhere extremely unfamiliar. He had never really experienced snow, apart from the odd snowflakes in the coldest of winters, not that he had lived through many, and the mountain that stood before them knocked the words clean from his jaws. White covered the towering monster its icy fingers nipping at the pups form. Slowly he turned to his sister, giving her the quirky smile only she would ever see. ”You okay Corde?”
