Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

I am the great pretender

I can see that the stranger is nervous to know he is not alone as I make my way towards him. But soon he sees me and I freeze under his gaze. Whoever this wolf was, he was someone who had known what it was like to hold power. I wagged my tail and gave a soft smile. He seemed to consider my question for a moment then nodded his head and started to move off. Oh good! He did know the way and I quickly fell in step behind him as we moved off. This wolf didn't smell like Diveen and I started to wonder just how he knew the way there, but the thought didn't last long (they never do) as I started to gaze about this place. I had been so scared before that I hadn't really taken in my surroundings and it was only now that I looked at the rocky earth. This place reminded me a bit of home with its caves and crags, a perfect hiding place for a wolf pup in case of danger. There was also the sound of a distant waterfall and I made a mental note to check that place out when I had a better feeling for the outside world.

Silence stretched between us and it was starting to drive me crazy. I know Mom and Dad said that I could be a chatter box, whatever that means, and adults didn't really like that but I wanted to know more about this wolf and I was going to ask him. "So what's your name, Mister? Are you from around here? How old are you? Do you know if we can get some food soon? I'm kinda hungry." I let all the questions fall out into the open and this guy could choose answer one, all, or none. It was a game I liked to play. I asked lots of questions to new adults to see what they were like. There were some who were always willing to answer me and did so with a kind smile. Those wolves weren't interesting. They didn't have secrets. But the ones who did answer, who weren't willing to tell me things, those wolves were the ones I liked to be with. They had things locked away and therefore were far more interesting and had so much more to offer. As we walked, I let my green gaze watch my newfound companion closely as we moved along. What type of wolf are you? Show me...
