Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

these people keep to themselves,

Oh my god, what was wrong with this girl? Pudgy and unprepared were practically the same thing when it came to fighting, you know? At least if she had called d'Mani pudgy, she could have worked on that and you know, slimmed down or something. But unprepared? What was she going to do? Walk around all day looking for fights - oh, no, that job was already taken. By this girl. She snorted, flicking her head away as she stepped back and watched her through narrow eyes. Okay, so the girl had some sass and that was okay but really... did she want to try and out-sass d'Mani? No luck on that one, though, sweetheart. All she got was a polite chuckle and a cocked brow.

"Well, if he chose you, you must be such a marvelous warrior. Tell me, you don't plan on crushing me, do you?"

Her eyes ran the length of Zeteri, noting the girl's less than tremendous height and yet... there was nothing but muscle, muscle, muscle compared to d'Mani's more... relaxed physique. It seemed they were both adamant on sizing up the competition, and d'Mani twisted her body to give the girl a better look. Flaunt it, girl! She waved her tail, flashing her a broad, toothy grin. Ah, life was but a joke, no? Maybe this face off would be the punch line and little d'Mani would get her butt well and truly kicked. Maybe but, well, she wasn't going to go down easy.

"Thanks - I know I'm perfect. Zeteri, huh?" She thought on the name for a moment, frowning slightly in contemplation. The name was familiar, a distant noise from when she was but a child - no, definitely not anything to do with Litherum though. So, it had piked her interest a little bit... maybe she'd dig a little further into this once she satisfied the girl's apparent urge to fight. Damn kids and their want to show off.

"d'Mani. So, what's my first lesson, huh? How to run up to another wolf and miss or...?"

With that, she leapt forward, diving her head forward and to the side as Zeteri had done with her before nudging the girl's shoulder. She held the pose for a moment before retracting and dancing back a few strides, smirking oh so smugly to herself. What lessons could this newbie possibly teach her? Hell, d'Mani had damn well helped take down a goddamn seal! Of course, some of the Moladion wolves were practically sea lions but... whatever... totally besides the point. She had no doubt she could totally be a kick ass warrior if she need be. So much so in fact, why not try it on for size?
