Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

I BROUGHT YOU TO LIFE
SO THAT I CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM

Tales are spun, spoken, and told again and again throughout time until they become legends; distant fantasies of lore that younger generations do not heed to. Yet they should. Lurid was in no sense any type of legend, but one day she promised to be. She has yet to achieve such accomplishments to be deemed something more than she truly was - but it was only the beginning.

She stepped into this odd new world with intention to set it ablaze with chaos, rile up certain individuals, create disorder in every plot of land. It was only in her nature to consume and destroy. Her mind was not on its normal path on this day, she felt out-of-step and it was driving her to insanity. What was this horrid feeling in her gut? She had to find some sort of release, someone or something to take her frustration out on.

Her lithe form traipsed through across the earth at a slow pace, betraying not the pandemonium that wreaked havoc within her tainted mind. She appeared harmless, a pale angel to most, yet she was everything but. Her mind had been compromised by the woe she had endured for so long. Death. Betrayal. There was nothing left for her to lose but her own life and even that held no meaning for her any longer. She was but a messenger from the devil, sent to do his dirty work. There was a new side to the dark soul that Lurid contained - something unpredictable and violent. She was nothing more than a monster.

With practiced ease, she moved languidly through the forest, her paws taking the lead as to where she would go before a scent captured her attention. A male, alone, and wandering through the trees as well. A victim for her anger, the long-time resentment and rage. She switched her course so that she would be able to approach him without being easily detected and continued forward with expert stealth.

The beast was within her sight when she began to stalk him at a distance, pink and red gaze following him greedily until she was ready to make her move. There was a wild card though, and another female leaped from the opposite of her, crashing into the male before regaining her footing. Lurid's lip raised in annoyance as she watched before she realized that the strange femme did not hold the same intentions as Lurid did. Why would she go in for an attack just to pull back moment later? It was nonsensical.

Now that she had appeared into the mix, Lurid had not other option than to make a calm and collected approach alternately. The fallen angel collected herself and in one smooth motion she materialized from the foliage, coming face to face with her prey item, pale gaze intent upon his own. She stared at him for a long moment in silence before shifting her attention towards the dark lady, a more quizzical and perhaps hardened expression - a bit of harsh feelings for ruining such a perfect moment in the she-wolf's eyes. Pale rays of sunlight cascaded down upon the three as they stood before one another in a triad. "Well, it seems that fate has willed the three of us to meet. It is undetermined how this confrontation is to end, but Lurid prefers her encounters to conclude with no less than blood spilled upon the pristine canvas of the earth. A sly sneer played lightly at her lips.
