Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Alana stretched out, lean muscles flexing underneath her coat. There was a chill on the air, signaling that winter would soon be upon the lands. Winter always made Alana uneasy. It was a dangerous time for any female, particularly one without a mate. To protect herself, she didn’t plan to leave Glorall during that season. It was safe enough here, no matter who the alpha was. But it was still early enough. The first snows still hadn’t fallen and there were still a few stubborn leaves clinging precariously to tree branches.

She let her feet take her to a river she had seen flowing through Glorall feeding the ocean. She had no idea where it come from, though. She realized how little she knew of these lands in general. She had only been exploring the forest when Leviathan had found her and told her of Glorall, with its ocean. She hadn’t left since then. It seemed a perfect time to do some exploring.

Sure enough, the river led her out of Glorall and into the unclaimed lands. She had heard rumors of the other packs, Diveen being the only name she knew. Perhaps she was near the boarders of those lands. Or perhaps there were other lands she hadn’t heard of yet. Sun glinting off of the silver in her coat, she headed forward.

Soon, the land became more rocky. She could smell a swamp somewhere off to her left, and the scent of many other wolves there. Most likely a pack, she decided to avoid it for now. Best not to go trespassing into other people’s homes when you didn’t know how welcoming they would be. She was significantly less cautious about her surroundings as she had been when she first reached Moladion. The warnings of her mother had grown fainter with time and with safety within Glorall. She did not cast her eyes into the caves as she once would have. She was simply wandering, enjoying the crisp autumn air. She wasn’t oblivious, she would notice if she came upon someone’s fresh scent or if something moved in front of her. She just wasn’t as fearful as she used to be.
