Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Watch me fall above like a vicious dove

ISTAS

They don't see me come, who can blame them?

Istas was certain this boy had to be telling the truth. There was no way that someone like this could be lying. Boys were good, he never had a bad time being around boys they were nice, not crazy like girls. Istas was just amazed by the white and silvery colored and how amazing he was. His heart was racing, but he was not sure what that meant. He was excited, happy and a little scared of what this boy was doing here. He didn’t know he was making Noel uncomfortable as he was observing him, all the way down to his large paws. Istas backed away a few steps, staring at Noel with his blank gaze. He could tell this boy was from Glorall by his smell, he certainly hadn’t been at that little meeting with Lillith, Saqr and Zaqar. Istas wasn’t sure who that other older pup was that had scared him, but he wasn’t trying to be mean Istas was sure. So Glorall wolves were all very nice? He hoped so.

His wispy tail wagged behind him furiously, smile on his maw when the boy said he hadn’t followed him here, that was good! It meant he was still a ghost of the mists of Iromar, capable of hiding and shadowing others. He loved himself, his markings, his eyes, he was a perfect blank slate never to be marked or marred. Noel was actually somewhat the opposite, colorful, a painted picture with all sorts of neutral and natural tones. Not the russets and blacks of demons or those weird patchy pups with weird uneven markings plopped wherever. He couldn’t say that was fun to look at. Different, but not fun like watching the smooth transition of Noel’s marking and his usual eyes.

Istas nodded happily, ”That is really good! I was worried I was losing my touch! I am very sneaky!” He jumped back and fourths a little, tail wagging above his back. He was forgetting all of his troubles for the time, he had a nice boy talking to him! That was always nice. The pure fluffy white boy tilted his head when he had said he had been looking for someone, but couldn’t find them and got lost. He felt bad, and turned to look in the direction he had run from his pack, ”Well I just did come from there! It isn’t! If you want we can start walking back a bit together? I would like that, would you?” He ask shuffling his paws in the grass, he knew that meant he would have to deal with the stupid plants clinging to his fur again, but he wanted to make sure the nice boy got home safely.

Istas hoped he would say yes, he certainly was nice, he even thanked him for the compliment. It was the truth though, boys were nice and Noel was being extra nice, not even like teasing or anything like his brothers were. The boy did notice he seemed a little nervous now though that he took a step back to look. He hoped he wasn’t scary, sometimes he surprised others because he was so good and hiding and sneaking around. It was much easier in Iromar than out here he supposed, he had heard he looked like a ‘snowball’ but Istas wasn’t sure what a snowball exactly was. Perhaps he could hide with that too?

The boy was so polite, introducing himself as Noel from Glorall as Istas had assumed. What was more he called Istas nice too!!! He was excited his heart fluttered at the very idea of being called nice by him. He wriggled about before finding the will to still himself for a moment to speak again.

”Oh you don’t want to know them, Noel! They were mean girls! Called my Momma a liar when they did not know the truth and made fun of me! They just were mean!” He said with a little huff, ”Best just to stay away from them. Their names were Cersei and Maradona. Mean girls, though all girls I meet that are not my Momma seem to be just crazy!” He said all of this very calmly and matter of factly, giving a few nods of his head all the while.

He was happy that Noel had managed to stay away from him, who knows what mean tricks though would have played on him.

They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why
