Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

For the short amount of time he had been here, Rio finds himself comfortable in his new home. He had been sent as ambassador for Glorall to Spirane, seeking out not only an alliance but knowledge as well. The red-head felt it had gone quite well, and now found himself out within the nomans land. The land was different, of course, but easy enough for him to traverse. It was grassy, and soft beneath his massive paws. Not quite wet, but plush enough that the grass was a vibrant green. Though fall was almost over, this part of the land retained it's fresh grown apperance, though the wolf knew Winter was just around the corner. This did not bother him though, of course. After all, Rio had been born far to the North, and was used to frigid temperatures. He welcomed the snow that came with the seasons, but for now, he was content with this lively thriving paradise. He was on a quest for others, for new wolves to come across and meet. Everyone had their story to tell, their secrets to teach. It was simply up to one to take advantage of such to the best of their ability.

His meeting had gone well, and so he was content to take his time returning to Glorall. And he was not disappointed by that which surrounded him, nor the scent of another not too far ahead. About the time he registered the scent, a masculine howl rose into the air and called to all those around. More than eager to respond, the tall, older burgundy wolf lengthened his stride. It was not too long before he came upon this other, one of moderate age- but one of a petite manner. Not many males Rio had come across were often so slim and small, but then again, he was used to those burly wolves of the North who had to have meat and muscle on them in order to survive. The law of tooth and fang held brutal to some, but this was nothing to deter the northerner. He could learn any number of things from this other wolf, and so he was content to close the distance to just a few feet left between them. Tilting his large crimson skull lightly to one side, perhaps a comical thing for a wolf such as he, but there was a smile across his handsome muzzle to match the gesture.

Parting his lithe and strong jaw, he spoke to the other, his voice melodic and rich in tones. Citrine eyes gazed upon the other with nothing but friendly intent- his tones matching the expression. Greetings, stranger. I am Rio. Quick to the draw, he wasted no time in introducing himself, his friendly demeanor one that simply came natural to him. He was an easy going fellow, mellow enough, and more than a little genuine. He had always been charming throughout his life, in his younger and older years, and he was ever the gentlemen. Acting his part, he's addressing the wolf again, that same smile curled upon his muzzle and a joy that seemed to radiate from his golden gaze. Who might you be?
