Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

I'm beginning to feel like a Dungeon Dragon

Her ears pricked forward at his words, giving him her full attention. Since it was night, there was little to no sounds to be heard in the air other than themselves and the waves. She didn't need to keep swiveling her ears to search and re-search for sounds when she would barely be able to hear them over the water. Besides, it as night and most were asleep. And if something was near she'd sense it. Right now she was focused on the black and red male before her. He was chewing on something, some kind of plant. She'd eaten berries and such in times of no prey, but never gnawed on the plant he had in his teeth. She entertained the thought of trying some herself, but the smell quickly deterred her.

She liked his voice; smooth and deep. She also liked his accent, seeing as it was one she had only heard a handful of times before. Her lips curled at his words and she chuckled a little. She didn't say anything about it; letting it go. Instead she mirrored his actions, laying down in front if him. She laid her head on her paws, peering up at him with owlish, inquisitive eyes. "Why are you chewing on that plant?" She asked. It might be fore the taste, or it might be for something else. She herself had a working knowledge of herbs and other pant life and knew that some could induce relaxation and some even had medicinal qualities. The knowledge came in handy when she had been wounded worse in the past. Pain relievers and things that sped up healing or fought infection.

The one thing she didn't like about him chewing on the plant -besides the fact that it smelled terrible to her- was that it made his eyes go bloodshot. Pity, she had never seen lavender eyes and wanted to see them. Unclouded. "I'm Jagger, by the way." She smiled genuinely, hoping that they could perhaps become friends. He didn't seem the type to have many friends, after all, most didn't approach ones such as him. But Jagger was not most, and just because he looked big and scary didn't necessarily mean he was big and scary. Of course, he might still be scary on the inside but who knows? Maybe she could manage to get on his good side or something.
