Character Bio
NAME
Souverain
AGE
6
GENDER
male
EYE COLOR
Very dark brown, to the point where they usually appear black unless the light hits just right.
APPEARANCE
35in, 105lbs (roughly)
Blond coat with russet accents around head and ears, underside, legs, and chest. He's long-legged and lanky with an unkempt, patchy coat, as if perpetually transitioning from his winter coat to his summer.
PERSONALITY
Souverain is reserved, non-confrontational to the point of perceived weakness, and quietly intelligent. He utterly lacks ambition, direction, interpersonal connections, and desire for anything more than a free life and a rabbit every now and again. He's most at peace alone, and although he's perfectly capable of keeping the company of others for a short period of time, he lacks an innate desire for community that keeps him from attempting to join any packs or start a family. Although initially pleasant-seeming, Souverain has a habit of slipping into his naturally aloof personality and alienating anyone who attempts to get close to him. The loss of these relationships do not seem to affect him in any way.
HISTORY
Souverain, simply put, wandered away from his pack at two years of age and never felt bothered enough to return.

SAMPLE
The sky had been bright and clear on the morning Souverain left his family. It had rained the day before and the scent of dampened earth made his fur bristle with pleasure, made a thrill of something wash over him, and he simply had to leave. Not for a need to make something of his life (his life was his life; he could neither make more nor less of it), not out of any contempt for his pack or his parents or his littermates (they were actually very nice, very understanding - if Souverain liked anyone, he probably liked them), not for any desire, at all, beyond the feeling of now, now, now. It was, for all intents and purposes, a whim.
Souverain was not particularly whimsical most of the time. He supposed he felt some level of pride in his solitary moment of whimsy, as he was trotting away from the only home he'd ever known.
(From an outsider's perspective, it should seem strange that the only thing Souverain actually felt was that twinge of pride at his singular act of spontaneity. He felt no fear for the future ahead of him, no loss for the family he was leaving behind, and absolutely zero drive to do anything but wander further and further away, until he got so far and had walked for so long that the air no longer smelled of freshly watered earth, and the imploring quiver of now, now, now ceased completely.)
When he felt the desire to, Souverain stopped and rested for a while. When wolves informed him that he was trespassing on pack territory, or threatened him, or attacked him, Souverain apologized and happily retreated. He caught rabbits. He drank from clear, cool streams and still lakes. He met pleasant wolves, with whom he had pleasant conversations that inevitably ended with the wolf leaving, and Souverain wandering some more, alone.
He was content. It did not seem to be in him to be anything else.
