Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

I am exploring. I am running and looking about, excited to learn about this new place that my Nines has seen fit to have us travel to. It is very far from the lands we had called home, very far away indeed, and maybe that is why it excites me so very much. It is cold, yes, but this doesn't bother me so much as I find things to discover. I have somehow dug up a storehouse someone had left in a very small foxhole, there were bones of prey and much more importantly there were healing plants. Now I have something I can carry to Nines, so that he will know that already I have found something we can use, after all injury is no stranger to him. I pick up as much of the plants as my jaw could comfortably hold, before pulling my head back and loping back towards where I had last seen my beloved Nines. I slow my pace as I come across what seems like a lot of blood. That is far too much blood to be healthy, and while I know it is not my beloved Nines I can't just ignore it. I know he won't like my decision but I can't let someone bleed out on my watch. My head swivels towards the fresher stuff, and my jaws tighten around my prize of plants. If I am to do something, I must decide now and act upon it. The plant are bitter on my tongue as I hesitate. I am torn between my natural inclination to help and the fact that my beloved is waiting for me. Eventually I know what I must do and I am going forwards to seek out the stranger that must be in such terrible danger. I wanted to make sure the wolf would be okay and would not perish, at least not this winter.

Everybody must get a chance to survive. I would make sure that this stranger would recieve that chance. I track him and at first the going is slow, ever so careful that I do not overstep or lose his trail. My pristine white coat blends and melds in easily with the snow, as I search for this stranger with the life so very endangered. Maybe it was my calling to help this stranger, on the off chance he could not help himself. Pristine tall frame moves with skillful ease through the snow that makes me seem like a shadow. I follow the trail of blood left for me to see, and it seems I have been brought to shelter. Black tipped ears flicker forward so I can hear, as I tentatively poke my head into one of them. "hello? if I come in you won't bite me, right?"

I take a careful pace forward until I can see the damaged wolf, head tilting to one side as I assessed. He really did not look that great at all. I take a cautious, tentative step closer. I am waiting for a show of aggression, for him to try to force me back, but I will not let him die out here. When I hear nothing I move to stand beside him and drop the plants to get a better look. "please I must help you. do not bite." Black tipped tail offers a wag, to show that I am no threat. My large icey aquamarine show nothing but worry, orange marked body having no signs of tenseness that would indicate an attack. I poke a poppy head towards his muzzle carefully without getting quite in easy biting range, if he was able to move he should take a seed from it. "if you can move eat a seed. it will help the pain." My voice is smooth and soothing, it sends across my desire to help. Nines would surely yell at me for this one.

friendly flip side of the coin

And that's what you get when you let your heart win
I drowned out all my sense with the sound of its beating
