She surprises him again, and you watch as the devil's head tilts, watching her as she seems to simply cast his words off her back like a duck with water. How odd that one would let such a veiled dig simply go away, to brush it under the rug in such a dismissing manner. You see that glint in his eyes, and you prepare for the worst, for him to get offended by her shrugging off of his dig. What kind of wolf would simply let that kind of thing go? In a matter of seconds, Jagger has managed to do something no other in this land could to – and that is capture his attention. She has his interest, though whether this will pan out to be a good endeavor for her or a terrifying one has yet to be known. You only know that she is spared but for a moment, until his interest wanes and he is on to something more...artistic.

She opens her mouth, giving Jinx a good view of the weaponry she works with beneath the svelte of her ebony pelt, and she does a most unexpected thing. She chuckles, her lips forming a grin as she does. This does not irritate the beast as you expected, instead he is more curious about her. She confronts him for his earlier actions – though he has yet to own them – and yet...she does nothing to remedy her forced awareness. You catch her next words to him, and the beast fully expects more questions to her current conscious state. Apparently, the girl has it out for tripping up Jinx's mind, for she asks a question, just not the one he had expected. ”This'ere plant keeps me calm, less me a'chully hang out wi'the normal folks.” He answers her honestly, for you have found that he does not lie without reason.

His glossy gaze finds hers, the bright lavender of his gaze made more shockingly colorful by the red around them. You watch and listen as she goes on to introduce herself, and for a moment you expect Jinx to do the same. Her smile is something that warms your heart, but the devil is less than interested in the gesture, only taking in the sight of her now revealed teeth. A brow arches and you see his eyes take that inward gaze, as if he searches within himself for some way to respond to her. Yes, the natural thing to do is introduce himself right back, but he does not seem willing to do that just yet. ”So war ya frum, Jagger?” He asks, putting a more pronounced emphasis on her name. He remains languid for the moment, simply inclined to listen to her as he finishes the rest of his plant.
