Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Time into words. Heart doesn’t tend to put time into his words because he doesn’t put much stock in words. Language is an annoying necessity that’s come into being simply because the population deemed it so. Words weren’t the biggest thing in the world, the most important thing to worry about. Things like lineage didn’t matter so much to him either… he doesn’t fear the demons, especially as a false demon himself. He’d never come so close to one, but they were just like everyone else. They were strange here, having all sorts of labels for things and for those that looked a certain way. He wasn’t a demon. He wasn’t someone that was going to be feared like that.

He didn’t like the fear. Heart wasn’t here to strike the icy tolling fear and drill it down deep inside those in his world. He wouldn’t get close to them, because that was against his personal policy, but he wouldn’t scare them. He wasn’t here to scare. Heart was here to… help. To help, to make sure no one was seriously injured, and to watch. He liked to watch. He wasn’t here to bond. He wasn’t here to get close. He wanted to watch the world as it went by, and that was what he was getting right here, right now. He didn’t try to be adorable, and actually mostly the opposite—Heart wasn’t here to be cute. He was here to help and move on.

And yet here he was, sitting next to Vera and simply being. It was a bizarre thing, not a habit Heart would like to get into. He was okay being a common lands loner, but it would be nice to have someone to look back at, right? Someone that he could go to if he really and seriously needed something? Heart put pride in being self-reliant, but it would be nice to have a friend… though this was only their first meeting, it was something that the man could eventually, maybe let come into play. Acquaintances for now was quite alright, but things could go really wherever they wanted to from here.

She speaks again, and Heart nods. He can hear her speak, and has a thought in her head that she has something else to say, so he stays quiet. The young man with the crooked dorsal stripe simply listens on as the girl speaks. He can follow the conversation, and that is at least a good start. “I have a den here and there… not in a pack or anything, just around.” It’s a vague answer, but Heart never has anything more than a vague idea of where he is. He doesn’t really have a solid identity, even. Things are weird with him. They always have been.
