Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.
Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

_________________________________________________________________________ The family left the field that they had come to and the strange wolf that had approached them. Azula liked it this way better, the less lupines they encountered the better. She didn’t want to risk her father or other brother finding out about her and her family’s whereabouts, protecting her pups was the most important thing to her. She had no idea what she would do if she didn’t have her pups to keep her together; she had to keep herself together for their sake. As the family padded away her brother Kyron once again took the lead. It may seem odd to others that an almost blind wolf would lead the way but she trusted her brother completely to lead her and their pups to safety. As they walked through the unknown land the air around them started to become colder. Azula looked behind her to make sure that her two pups were following okay and that the pace was not too fast or difficult for them. After walking for a while a large mountain came into view as snow started appearing on the ground. Snow landed on the family as her brother stopped walking to speak, "It's good once again, but still, we have to keep an eye out. Do you want to go to the top of the mountain, or..?" Azula looked to her pups to see how they were faring as Felan smiled his silly smile at his sister and asked how she was doing. The she knew that climbing the mountain would be dangerous and difficult, especially for the small pups and her disabled brother. She didn’t want to risk her family’s safety and she would be doing just that if they attempted to climb to the top. Perhaps they could find a cave of some sorts at the bottom to take shelter in and take a break from all the walking they had done today, it was a lot for the young pups. “Perhaps we should stay down here, I don’t want anyone to get hurt in the climb, it wouldn’t do us any good for RYU or father to find us injured and unable to defend ourselves. Let’s search for somewhere along to mountain that’s hidden to rest for a while.” She addressed her brother, hoping that he was okay with her decision, knowing he would protest if he disagreed. Before looking for a space to rest Azula nuzzled her two pups, wanting to make sure they were doing alright. “What do you think of the snow little ones? It can be very fun to play in.” She smiled lovingly at them before turning to search for a spot in the mountain that would be safe for them, at least for a little while. ________________________________________________________________________ |
