News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Return to Lunar Children
The smoke in the shadows
IP: 24.27.96.14

I hope this boy realizes that I am not unaware. How could I not notice the racket he is making outside? I know it is Elijah or Ego or whatever the hell he is, the point is his scent carries strong into the black smoke of my den. The war, was over, and that meant my fun was over too. I was so looking forward to ripping someone apart. I wanted to bring a suffering onto a being that would horrify the world. I want the stories of my prowess in battle to be told for ages, if only to keep others fearing me as they very well should. I keep inside my siren formed body inside, my own little selves probably wandering and owning Diveen as they should be. I have nothing much to do at this moment but to wait for my apprentice to do...whatever he is doing. Really, what the hell is he doing? I let my deep honey eyes flash towards the entrance, my face always remarkably indifferent to my surroundings. As much as I am mildly curious to what my apprentice is doing, I am not going to investigate until I very well feel like it.

I know he isn't up to any good. At least, I do not think. Moose antlers don't sound so...sticky. Nor do I hear the help of an adult. I stretch my long grey limbs out, placing them out before me like smokey pillars. My mind swirls with the irritating thoughts of the war. Irritating because I did not get what I wanted due to that...Malina. She intentionally interfered and I am not pleased with this. I know there something going on, as no one stands in the way of me and my prey. I allow a small smirk to cross my inky black visage as I think of how badly Malina fucked up. She gets everything she deserves. And the little toy that she let live. I was so close to killing her. It would have been the end to that girl if I had gotten my fangs into her skin. Well, okay I was having fun, but still, in time she would have been the first causality of the war.

My supreme thought are interrupted by the light being interrupted by he shadow of that growing pup. I hear his bark echo throughout my lair. Puppies have the most...annoying of voices. Irritating little things. This one has absolutely no grace or beauty, nor any power behind it. I waited, my muscles tightly coiled naturally under my stunning and unscathed pelt. He will wait, because I choose him to wait. He will be patient or suffer the consequences of my wrath. It will be many moments where my copper eyes lay on the mouth of the den, before I casually lift my form up.

I move with the fluidity of a well trained and naturally talented Goddess. With each step, the heavens seem to sing of my approach. I don't even mind if hell screams along. My graceful form of darkness rises from the abyss into the light of the day, my copper eyes squinting softly. I always keep my eyes slightly narrowed to begin with, my face naturally beautiful and yet I ensure there is not a bit of...friendliness upon it. As I come out of the den, I stand tall. My form is massive and foreboding. I am muscle and steel wrapped into a lupine package of perfection. I do not look directly at the boy or what he sits by immediately. No, I slowly let my eyes wander around the area first. I am in control, and he gets my attention when I choose it. I lift my grey paw, licking it once with my pink tongue before I allow my gaze to casually fall upon the young boy as he speaks. I notice that he looks like less of an...well, idiot today. Good. Maybe he will decide to fuse himself so this whole Elijah Ego thing would end. It is annoying. Elijah is annoying. I narrow my eyes, just barely, as I stare him down. Yes, I give him a good cold stare to assess his facial expressions before I even give his little piece of artwork any of my attention.

My haunches fall upon the ground like smoke on a cold day. I move my gaze from the boy to the arranged sticks, only giving it one look before I life my other paw up again to inspect it, seemingly out of boredom. This boy is thinking he is so clever. It is only mildly clever, but in the completely incorrect answer type of clever. I give my paw a good look before I let it fall again, allowing silence to cling to the air. Part of me wanted to praise him for thinking of at least something different, the other part of me wanted to call him an idiot for not thinking logically. I guess I get to do neither things. Pity.

"HM. Conatus es disponere ligna super quae in modum tamquam gestantem alces. Non video cur hoc docere. Si vis me affici, tunc per comparationem ad expectant accurate determinare eius. Nunc me ire adepto a plena equuleum alces gestantem creverit adulta. Quia iam hoc negotium ad te sperant in eodem corpore, ut supra dictum est."
(Hm. You have attempted to arrange sticks in manner which may look like moose antlers. I fail to see why you are showing me this. If you wish to impress me with this, then I expect to have something to compare it with in order to determine its accuracy. Now, go get me a rack of moose antlers from a full grown adult. Since I have already assigned this task to you, I expect it in the same time frame as I mentioned before.)

My voice is typical, disgustingly beautiful to the point that ears melt and ooze wishing to hear more and more. It is like a curse really, the stunning essence of my vocal abilities. However, I do manage to sound rather...indifferent about the whole matter. My copper eyes flash over towards the boy, completely expecting some sort of angry outburst. I know what he is trying to pull, and sure it is a nice try, but I am not going to allow him to get away with this problem so easy. Not all guesses are solutions, and this may have been a good answer, but incorrect.

"Discipule mi, puto, si officium implere ut labore satus statim in crastino. Maximum hoc munus est, ut non in fossis et habet somnus locum adpropinquet mihi. Si enim hoc munus adeo in alteram erit locus aptior, et timeo ne verbis condimentum elit ius questus cum alia. Quod si latro es, necesse erit, ut inter alios tike ... etiam ... Et quomodo? Bonum."
(My dear apprentice, I am thinking that if you complete this task, that we should start immediately working on the next. Such a task is of the greatest importance, and involves digging over there so you have a place to sleep near me. Yes, if you complete this task your next will be to live in a more appropriate place, for I fear you are not getting the right verbal and visual interaction with others. If you are to be an assassin, you will need to be around others to understand how they...tick...yes? Good.)

I say as my flawless black visage lowers to be more on level with his. My voice and eyes are hinted with a more devious nature when I speak the words tick, a sort of wicked whisper with a touch of sweet poison on the end. I am not completely certain what this Ego will think of it. Elijah would probably be bouncing around with an idiot smile on his face, but Ego was a different beast as I have learned. He may be more hard to please, but if he wants internal knowledge of how this world works, he will need to bend his will to get the advantage. I am the only way to his salvation. I am the only way to unlock his true potential. Let everyone else be scared, for I one day plan to release a true hell upon Moladion. Just you wait.
