Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Unlike him, she wasn't concerned with impressing anyone. Didn't care, really. Her looks were her looks and if you didn't like that, then fine. She looked well enough, coat only a few shades lighter than the night and devoid of any other colors. Pink, though, that was a color that popped up on her a lot. Not neon pink or anything like that, but the dusky, dusty pink that scars became once it healed. Most of the scars that littered her body were hidden underneath her fur, the hairs obscuring them from view unless she was wet or the wind blew them back. She wore her scars like merit badges, though only two -one, really, if you considered it one big collective scar as she did- were constantly on display. One was the chunk missing from one of her ears, a bit taken out of the side. That was her first ever scar, from when she was a pup and gotten into a fight with another youngster. The other was the myriad of ragged teeth marks in her back leg, as if something big with equally big and strong jaws and fangs had clamped on to the limb and tried to rend it from her body. Which it did, the scars from the mouth of an alligator she'd fought. Despite the scars, she'd gotten the last laugh, killing the thing and feeding off its carcass for days. That was the fullest she'd been in a long time, usually just keeping enough in her stomach to keep her functioning properly.

Her eyes, though. They stood out about her. On this night, at least. They were electric blue, though with all the stars out they seemed not only electrically hued, but glowing. As if she took the starlight into herself and it reflected out in her eyes. Especially with her head tipped back as it was, gazing up at the pinpricks of light. She was in the middle of the field, simply sitting and watching the night sky. She was utterly still, her breaths not even making a sound.

She was new to this land, but so far these fields were the best star gazing spot she'd found. Normally she liked to be up high, as close to the stars as she could get, but the fields offered an disrupted view.
