Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

'The snow pelted his face. The wind was strong, stronger than usual. It made the visibility worse than the snow alone would have. Yet the group of wolves moved ahead, eyes squinting in an attempt to see. The lead was shouting, or at least it was assumed he was. The whistling winds were to loud to hear over. The remaining lupines cocked their heads, shaking their heads to show they couldn't hear. The lead screamed to no aveil and at last he jerked his muzzle towards the deep snow bank above. Still no one understood his meaning. He finally gave up and trudged forward with the others following. The pace was hastened, as close as they could get to a run with their paws sinking. A low rumble rang out over the racket that the storm was causing. The wolves froze in their tracks, simultaneously looking up to the part of the mountain the leader had been trying to point out to them. Now they understood. The first few clumps of snow tumbled down and quickly the rest followed. They were stuck. Even if their quick pace continued it was fultile. They could not escape the avalanche. The would be swept over the edge. They would fall over. Down, down, down.....'

Meera yawned, trying to deny sleep from her orbs. She would have to stay awake for at least a bit. Jojen would be up soon and even if he wasn't she would force him up. She needed to sleep as well if they were to leave at first light. It would help if something actually happened. Something to protect her sleeping brother from, besides his dreams. Undoubtedly he would begin his convulsing again soon. It happened often and Meera was used to dealing with. She had even taught herself to wake up whenever she heard the familiar scuffling and snorting. Maybe she could sneak in a few moments of rest. She felt herself drifting to sleep and then a scent filled her nares. The ess snapped her gazers open. Meera scrambled to a sitting position. She was not assuming that this new lupine was dangerous, but she would be on guard. It was a female, that much was clear before she even appeared from our of the trees. The new femme was older, though not by too much. A pack scent overlaid her own. Meera's hazel orbs took in the female. Her gray coat was thin, strange for someone venturing in the mountains. Her and Jojen's own were thick and protected them for the cold quite well. The femme opened her mouth to speak and Meera's auds pricked up to listen.
"Hello. My name is Daenerys and it is my first time in these areas. I was wondering of you knew anywhere I could take shelter before the storm hits, possibly another cave like the one you two have occupied." her stance was not one of aggression, but of confidence. Her words, direct and to the point. Meera appreciated it. The newness to the area explained why she had come to the mountain with a thin coat of fur. "Hello Daenerys. My name is Meera. I'm sorry, but I have not seen any other caves so far. Our traveling has not taken us very far yet and the storm ruined any chance we had of finding another today. You can share with us if you wish. There is plenty of room." Jojen's claws began scraping the floor and his snorting drifted out of the cave. Meera gave the femme an apologetic look and, grabbing a stick, slipped into the cave.

The branch was forced between his jaws. The whites of his eyes showed, with only a hint of the irises showing. Jojen sounded as though he was struggling for breath, but he wasn't. His chest heaved slightly and his pillars flailed about as he seized. "Shhh. It's fine. I'm here." Meera's voice floated into his ears. Slowly, the boy returned to normal. His legs remained motionless and his breathing slowed. The stick fell from his mouth. Gray orbs were squeezed shut and opened. The brute lay silently. Meera licked his brow comfortingly. She knew better than to ask what it had been this time. Jojen would tell her if he wanted to. "An exceptionally bad one, huh?" she said. It was a question, but she knew the answer. The Titan said nothing, merely gave a small nod. He wasn't sure why this one had been as bad as it was. "Get up and come out. You'll feel better." she exited without another word. The teen stood, feeling the reprecussions of sleeping on a cold stone floor. He stretched before following his sister. The brightness stung his eyes, momentarily blinding him. The white light dissipated and in front of him another femme stood. "Oh. Hello." he said, startled.

Meera shook her head. "You'll have to forgive my brother. He's just had an umm... Traumatic experience if you can call it that. If you do decide to stay, don't worry if you hear that. It's a regular occurrence." she said as an explanation. It was hard to explain how the dreams worked. "How rude of me. Sorry. This is my little brother Jojen. Jojen, Daenerys. Daenerys, Jojen." the boy dipped his head in greeting. "A pleasure Daenerys."
