Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Rogue could pester her all she liked - go back to Diveen, see a Healer, blah, blah. Truth was, she wasn't entirely sure if she could or if she wanted to return to Diveen. Could she handle the celebrations of a war that saw her best friend injured? Could she bare seeing Fathom torn up? It all seemed to be too much. It wasn't the clean, easy killing of an Assassin but a senselessly brutal way of fighting that ultimately had no clear winner. In the Assassin world, you won when your target was dead and your payment fulfilled. In war, everyone shed blood and that was it. There wasn't any finality to it. It was pointless and she wasn't sure if she could deal with the aftermath, both long term and short term. She'd always been relatively self assured but to merely think of the egos that would form from the victory... it was maddening. But where would she go? Would Magnus go with her? And what of Lucid? He could always go to Glorall, but... it was too much to think about.

Rather than think of that, she was simply content to just be there with Rogue. Still, she chuckled as she mentioned Malina being unable to control others - that was the thing: she should have been able to.

"Rogue, she was an Assassin. As the Dark Angel, I should have been able to lift a paw and had her moving away from you. But that didn't happen. I am not sure what I did wrong but my rank failed me that day at the cost of you."

Of course, Malina didn't doubt for a second that Ava would not have listened to her even if she had said anything prior to the war. Ava was... dangerous not only for her physical attributes but her mind too. Still, it was true. Malina's rank had meant nothing on the battlefield and to say the least, that was concerning. Rogue's laugh had cut her concern, though, and she snorted, unsure as to what exactly her friend found so funny. Seemingly, she had at least started to loosen up but still - nothing was funny! Malina was very serious and this... how offensive! She reached out to paw at Rogue, just enough to butt into her before she watched her expectantly through narrowed eyes. Go on, what's so funny?

"I don't think anybody has ever called me funny before," she finally chuckled, pressing against Rogue as the pair embraced, "But thank you. I always thought I was going to go through life alone but it seems you've proven that wrong. I don't often enjoy being wrong but for you, I'll make an exception."

She pulled back, bowing her head briefly before wincing slightly at the pulling sensation over her wounds. They'd stiffened somewhat in the cooler weather, the skin puckering and becoming most uncomfortable. Worth it? Worth it. But of course, Rogue had to go back to the topic of her wounds, didn't she? Malina rolled her eyes, sighing heavily as Rogue nudged her chin. There was no way she was ready to go back to Diveen, not yet at least.

"Fine. We need some... moss, I think. It's not really bleeding but we might as well try to remove whatever blood is there. I'll come with you to find it, though!"

It would give them more time to talk and talking is certainly what Malina had to do. After all, she had not had a chance to see Rogue so often before the war and... there had been things happening. Awful, confusing things and yet Rogue would know what to do. Right?

"I... I have to talk to you about something. I'm not proud of it but... you know that imprinting thing?"

She grinned sheepishly as she moved to stand along side Rogue, awaiting to see whether they would even get moving on their moss hunt before her friend exploded.
