Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Return to Lunar Children

The child without a name grew up to be the hand

The wolfess seemed nice, seemed like someone who only wanted to help and heal. But Iblis had learned after years of being on his own that even the nicest wolf would easily turn and attack him. Being on the defense all the time had kept him alive all these years and it wasn't going to change. His eyes were glued to her, watching out for any sudden movements, his muscles painfully bunched and ready to spring away in case she charged forward. Iblis moved slowly, carefully, to a sitting position with his back legs held at the side as the female spoke. She called herself Amaterasu and claimed to be a loner as well, then offered a small seed that she said would help him to heal. Iblis took a moment to gaze down at the black seed that was resting on the ground, keeping his ears turned towards the stranger, but he didn't eat it. In his mind, the world was against him in his weakened state and none were to be trusted. Knowing nothing about plants and herbs, how was Iblis to know that this tiny seed wasn't meant to kill him. No, he wasn't going to risk it and the tiny plant remained as his paws where Amaterasu had left it.

That's when things started to get interesting. From out of the shadows of the cave, came a young wolf who had yet to taste what it was like to be an adult. He looked rather thin and dreadfully hungry and he made a bold move that he might regret. Iblis was a small wolf and many thought that made him an easy target but they were always surprised. This day, however, was not going to be one of those times. With blood loss came a lack in response time. The world moved with a slight fuzz around Iblis' vision and everything was slowed down too much for the scared wolf to react in a timely manner. The new wolf, the one who was but a child, stepped over Iblis' back legs in a show of both of dominance and... hunger? Iblis looked at the leg standing over him slowly, then gazed up at those eyes. He had seen those eyes before. They longed for flesh, for food, for nourishment. It did not matter to this young pup where he got his next meal and it was clear he intended for Iblis. A deep, threatening growl rumbled within Iblis' chest as the stranger reached and swatted the seed away. Acting on adrenaline, Iblis pulled his back legs painfully from under the small brute and stood with his head lowered to give a dangerous show of teeth.

Too tired and sore for words, Iblis remained quiet save for the growl, and stared down the child with his dark eyes. The thought that this wolf wanted to feast upon his flesh made his stomach churn in disgust. Even if he were starving, Iblis would never lower himself to cannibalism. He'd rather die! The female wolf who had helped him before was long forgotten as Iblis started making his retreat from the cave. But he didn't get very far. There was too much blood loss and he had eaten nothing for three days. Too weak to go on, Iblis' body gave out on him and dragged him down to the cave floor in a pathetic, bloody heap. Dizzy, confused, and a angered, Iblis was not a safe to be around. The growl turned to a warning snarl and he didn't even have the energy to raise his lips to expose his daggers. That is when the healers began to swarm him, but how could Iblis know they were helping? A new wolf with a similar scent to the other boy appeared from seemingly nowhere and said something to the white female. The sound was muffled and fuzzy and all he was able to catch was something about a tongue and an... asshole??? Iblis tried to lift his head to catch exactly what was happening, but there was a sudden pain from his left side shoulder where Andras had done his work

Iblis yelped and went to instinctively snap at where the pain had come from but a paw smacked him across the muzzle and his head was sent sprawling back to the ground causing another dizzy spell. He didn't know how much time had passed, but there was a sudden voice in his ear, a heavenly sound that echoed from Iblis' past. Niviaq? The image of the lovely wolfess on the beach came to Iblis and he longed to see her, but his vision was blurred and a paw on his skull kept his muzzle pointed down. The pain of his wounds increased and he whined, unable to hold it back. The whine would turn to another growl then he would whine again. Over and over again. There was nothing he could do and Iblis waited in the cold of winter for everything make sense again and for the pain to finally end.
