Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Baltair kept his golden-eyed gaze locked on the female, grinning like a fiend. She seemed to be on edge, as if she expected them to come in for the kill at any moment. He couldn't blame her, of course -- he didn't suppose it would be pleasant to face two behemoths such as the twins, especially with Will's nasty grimace. Baltair often poked fun at his brother for his natural inclination to glower -- it made him look so fearsome, and Baltair had a feeling that it accounted for a good chunk of their past brawls.

He laughed as she remarked on their size, amusement dancing in his yellow-and-blue eyes. "Adina," he repeated, dipping his head. One ear flicked in his brother's direction as the brute introduced them with their family name. "Aye," Baltair muttered, turning his gaze briefly to his brother. "The MacRieve brothers."

He knew Will didn't like giving out his name -- and he knew the deep irritation Will felt when the gaelic letters stumbled through the mouths of the uninitiated. Baltair didn't mind it, personally -- he had a good laugh listening to their atrocious accents, and could take their mispronunciation with a smile. But on the same turn, he understood and respected his brother's wishes. Their names were given only to those they trusted.

Balt heard his brother snort as the female assured them that she could take a hit. He couldn't help but grin, shaking his head.

"Doon'cha worry, hen," he laughed. "If we 'ad a mind ta' rough ya' up, we'd'a doon it by now."

He cocked his head, furrowing a brow in mock anger. "What d'ya take us foor, anyway, lass? A coople'a uncultured pigs?"

She noted that they sounded foreign, and again Baltair laughed. Clever one, she is.. His brother spoke, answering her and asking what they both were wondering -- as easy as if they shared a brain.

And keeping the sync, the two massive brothers leapt down to where she stood and sat back at the same time. Baltair wagged his tail good-naturedly, and it shifted noisily through the snow.
