Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Another wolf arrives after me and I recognize the familiar gray form of Alana. She seems sweet but she's a shy wolf, ducking her head even now as she sees Tesseract and Caligula. She dips her head to them in respect before seating herself near me and the pups. I offer her a smile and a dip of my head in greeting, wanting her to feel a little more at ease any way I can. She introduces herself to them and then goes silent as I turn my attention back to the alphas.

It's easy to see that the two alphas love each other. Tesseract basically glues himself to Caligula the moment she arrives. It's charming to see but at the same time, my chest gets that familiar ache when I see them together, reminding me of painful memories, memories of Cobryn. Viora seems to interrupt the moment though when her tiny teeth planting firmly in his paw. I grab her as quick as I can but I'm too late. I wait for his anger or something of the like but he surprises me by offering a grin and a chuckle after growling a little only moments before. He tells me that he has daughters of his own and I nod in acknowledgement, glad that he doesn't plan to punish Viora or anything of the like because I don't think I could allow someone else, even an alpha, to touch my daughter. I relax a little and offer a small smile as I take my seat.

I note the scolding look he gives Viora and I stiffen a little automatically, my paw pulling her a little closer though I give nothing away on my face. I understand that he wants her respect. I'm just not comfortable with other wolves around my children, especially males. He tells her and Tristan to find his children and try to beat them, his amusement obvious and though I'm still a little on edge with him so close to my children, I relax a little at his playful wink. I watch his reactions to the other wolves that arrive, paying special close attention to the red and black wolf. She seems to know the alphas and they her. Tesseract tells her she can stay. He then turns his attention back to Alana as she arrives but I don't miss the knowing smile he gave Rogue and Caligula. My ears flicker alertly.

And then it begins. Tesseract starts speaking to everyone, introducing himself and his mate and child before telling everyone that Rhoedias is gone and promising change. I think we've all heard this speech before. Only time will be his best friend. His approach is new though, wanting to meet with everyone separately. I tilt my head a little in curiosity. Not that I mind meeting with him alone. It's just new is all. He turns to Alana, offering her a grin as he steps toward her with an offer to walk. She is first then. I offer her a reassuring nod if she glances at me, wishing her the best since she really seems to be a sweet girl. He tells me and Caligula to find the children and introduce them. I nod at his question.

"Of course."

I note the look he gives Rogue, leaning in to whisper something to her but my interest is definitely peaked. What is he up to? When I tur to look at Caligula though, my face is a blank slate, devoid of anything other than a polite smile and eager expression. I've always been quite good at hiding anything going on inside my head.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Caligula."

I offer politely. Another wolf arrives, this one an interesting hue of gold and black. She's a large female. Big parents? My ears flicker uncertainly as I watch her. She seems harmless but going by looks, I wouldn't want to get on her bad side. She chooses to sit by the red and black female Rogue, an interesting choice since everyone seems to be keeping their eyes on that one today. I prick my ears toward the new female's voice as she greets Rogue before turning her attention to her alphas. She introduces herself as Zeteri. Her father Devil May Cry, sounds familiar. I remember that alpha. Isn't he the one in Diveen that had something to do with that war between Iromar and Diveen? Hm, I wonder if she would know. I've always been a curious creature.
