HiDE FROM YOUR FAMiLY
The creature was too broken to care. It’s what happens when you get played too hard for too long. Dimitri doesn’t have a reality to hold on to. He doesn’t have anything to cling to in the way that he needs. He doesn’t need anything, or so he’s thought. That’s the thing he has the hardest time with—pretending. He’s pretended for so long, and… that’s what’s rough. Dimitri has pretended so long, he nearly believes it. It’s easy to believe when you can fool yourself into anything. The shadow’s son realizes, in some part of his head, that he needs someone. It doesn’t matter.
And then there was the stranger. The man with the macabre grin didn’t do much to Dimitri. He simply… brushed it off. The creature was brushing it away, shrugging slightly to himself. Company was company, he couldn’t complain too much. Sometimes you had to be beyond the point of caring. The shadow’s son sure was. He looks to the man with the bi-color eyes, tail swishing slightly. The muscular creature doesn’t put Dimitri out, doesn’t set him off… they are simply alright. It’s all he needs, the company that is alright.
He’s unshaken. Dimitri watches the creature without flinching, simply… gazing. Gazing at the creature without so much as a second thought, focusing and thinking but without fear. He’s an easygoing thing when it comes down to it, or at least he is now. “No fucks left to give.” He shrugs at the creature, sitting to have a proper conversation with the man from the shadows. It’s a lazy sit, a comfortable sit… gaze strange. He’s always had a strange gaze. “Why’re you skulking anyway, stranger?” Just a question, a quiet, curious question. Dimitri has his curiosities, and those are generally gentle and fleeting. Yes, he has to ask.
