Octavia doesn’t know or care where her sisters are. Maradona and Cersei were around here somewhere, but she didn’t care to go after them. She was brilliant, tail flickering and eyes bright. She was quite bright, after all. Octavia was the smart one, or so she’d like to think. Not like Cersei wouldn’t say she was the smart one. Of course, she would always say she was the pretty one, the smart one, the athletic one, the… well, things were weird. Things were weird with her sisters. She didn’t want to really get into that, at least with her head.
And she was the alpha’s daughter, making her a princess? Sure, sorta. Things were sorta okay, at least in Octavia’s mind. She’d like some friends. Dad had said, during the meeting, that there were other kids around here. There was a daughter, and maybe… a son? Did that make sense? Sure. There was someone with kids, and she couldn’t think things through as well. A swish of her tail, a passing thought of having friends. That would be okay. She would like to have friends she wasn’t related to. Being related to all of your friends was kind of… sad.
And here she was, playing in the snow. There he is—there he is! Someone really was out there. With a brightness in her eyes the creature bounds to the son. It’s brilliant, bouncy and…. Everything. Everything is brilliant. “Hi!” Swishing tail, tossing head, and it’s wonderful. Super wonderful, she supposes. “I’m Octavia.” And it’s a friendly thing. Swish of a tail, bouncing over the snow… and to her new friend. Yes, she decided, they would be friends. Daddy’s little girl would make a friend.
