The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

All Men Should Keep Their Word, Kings Most of All

_________________________________________________________________________

The smoky warrior stalked through the trees of his new home, new confidence growing inside himself after being accepted into a pack. He wasn’t just in any pack, he was in Abendrot. The fearsome pack filled with tough, hard, fierce soldiers. A pack that he could call home with wolves that were like himself. Even though he had only just been accepted his goal was to join Kershov’s soldiers led by Marx. Grey Wind was a natural born leader, but he still had a while to wait for that opportunity to happen at his new pack. He was not here to try and take over, not at all, but if an opportunity arose he would jump on it, literally.

The titan needed to find a way to prove to his King, Kershov, that he was worthy of being accepted into the pack and that he would be a great addition to the pack and to the ranks of soldiers. His powerful shoulder muscles moved easily and effortlessly as he explored the terra. Anger coursed through his veins, bubbling hot under his skin. Thoughts of the fight he had lost swam through his mind. It was an unfair loss, nothing to do with his fighting abilities. It would be one thing if he had lost fair and square, but that was not the case. Thinking of it made him angrier and angrier, and he could feel the heat of his body increasing as emotion consumed him. The brute would never let another wolf see him vulnerable and upset like this, but while he was alone he could consume himself with anger. All he wanted right now was revenge, to find the wolf in Bright Moon that had scorned him and take her out. Thoughts of how he would kill her calmed him a bit, slowly, so she could feel the pain he now felt, only physically instead of emotionally, making her beg for death before considering how he would actually end her life. However he chose to do it he would make sure to feel the blood leave her arteries, to feel her last struggling breathe leave her body.

He shook out his thick pelt, trying to make the thoughts shake out of his head as well. A growl came from his throat, he felt foolish whenever he allowed his emotions to overcome him. As he tried to think of a way to distract himself a howl rang through the territory, a howl filled with pain and emotion. Grey Wind’s ears perked up at the sound, his attention fully on it, recognizing his King’s vocals. What could be happening to make Kershov feel such pain. Grey Wind paced a bit, starting to head in the direction of the call, but tracing his paws back and retreating. The titan was conflicted. He wanted to show support for the alpha, but he didn’t know if he would be overstepping boundaries by approaching him when he sounded vulnerable, if he was calling for others that were friends or had been in the pack longer. Finally Grey Wind decided to head towards his King’s call, hoping he would accept some comfort from a new ambitious pack member.

The warrior made his way silently and swiftly through the trees, following the sound and sent of Kershov. As Grey Wind stepped out of the trees he saw the white king standing alone. He wasn’t sure how to speak to Kershov, they had not had a real conversation yet, only speaking when Kershov accepted him. He laid his ears back respectfully, but not fearfully, knowing his place. “Kershov,” he spoke, nodding his head in greeting, “is there something that I can do for you?” The brute had had almost no interactions with other wolves for his entire life and he was no good at small talk, but he knew his manners and how to behave. He sat down, letting his thick plume wrap around his powerful paws as he waited to see what the white titan would say.

OOC: I think it's ironic that Grey Wind is so pissed at BM while Abendrot's spying on them XD if Kershov needed anything from Grey Wind, especially concerning BM, he would be more than willing. I would have had him post as a spy but he wasn't accepted yet and didnt wanna jump in too fast
