Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He had always imagined that he might have been unorthodox in his beliefs of leadership but, why not? He knew only of his mother's methodology of ruling which had failed, and terribly so at that. Otherwise, his limited exposure to the Angel families' ruling had somewhat imprinted on him. The two together allowed him to analyse through the weaknesses and strengths of each system, slowly configuring his own along side Caligula. It coincidentally worked in their favor for whereas he had been gifted with nonchalance and a silver tongue, Caligula had been gifted with intimidating silence and a more physical nature of showing her dominance. Perhaps if it had been Caligula that had found them, things would have been different. For Tesseract, their meeting on the edge of Glorall was pleasant to say the least, his interest in the Jagger girl stemming from her own seemingly strong personality.

It wasn't long before they had both seemingly come to a consensus, a fact that brought an even broader smile to his features. His tail waved joyously behind him as he pivoted to face into the territory, motioning for them to both move along side him as he began to slowly trot forward. Soon enough, the two had begun offering to take on tasks and he could not help but look a little dumbfounded for a split moment. Truthfully, he had not expected them to consider it a favor let alone something that need to be repaid - it was merely common courtesy. Jagger was quick to reiterate what it was she was particularly good at and it had been easy to believe that she had been a warrior of sorts at some point in her life; up closer, he could see more clearly a few of the scars that marked her. Chickadee, however, seemed more adamant on being softly spoken and for that, he turned his attention to her first, head tilted slightly.

"Perhaps you could help me with something once the storm passes. I am lead to believe there are a number of Healing plants throughout Glorall - you wouldn't happen to know what they looked like, would you? Either way, I would truly appreciate the company and a second opinion."

Then it was Jagger's turn for a task and oh, did he have one in mind. His smile almost gave it away, a little mischief creasing the corners of his lips. There had been one particular child that had caught his interest for less than a great reason - the Biter, as he had began to know her as. Really, she was Viora but nonetheless, she had apparently proven to be quite an energetic young thing from the get go. Sure, there was certainly potential but... it would be a challenge. Why not test Jagger's proposal with such a challenge?

"As for you, Jagger, I could actually use your help. There is a young girl here, Viora, who has quite a lot of potential. Perhaps you could aid in teaching her some focus and defense?"

He raised his brows expectantly, still wearing a kindly smile. Sure, he could have had the woman teach his own daughters and yet, Viora was the one who truly needed focus and distraction. When opportunity came a knocking, why say no?
