Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

There's a heart of gold somewhere in there

There is movement on the dusky landscape. The light is dull as the sun has set and the world around him is slowly darkening. This doesn't get the wolf down though. Not at all. No, he enjoys this time of the day as any other might. It isn't bad at all. It is usually quiet actually and perhaps this time, he doesn't crave the silence. When though; had Rupture ever craved the quiet hours? There is no recollection of that in his mind honestly and he couldn't tell you he honestly enjoyed it now. He did not. More than anything, the company of another is craved. Over what though? The silence; the need for something more? What is more?

The figure is spotted in the dusky distance and he studied it. The scents on the cool breeze are captured and this one is not feminine. That was alright though, his company did not need to be a female's own. Rupture wasn't a picky soul and honestly, he's rather goofy at best. Would Rupture give anything for a home; a family? Maybe. No, there was no maybe. This wolf would give everything for a home and why shouldn't he? The feeling of being alone, it wasn't a great one. The heart was left on its own and the mind wandered to times that could be better. In his mind, the heart ached for what it could have but did not. Would he ever have that luxury? He isn't sure but he can only wait and see honestly. Search; wander and hope. That is all that Rupture could do.

Picking up a trot, he caught up to the other male. There was a brief pondering of what he might say but then, he'd just go with the flow and speak up. Hey there. Name's Rupture and who are you if you don't mind my asking? What has you out here all by yourself? Perhaps it was so generic in inquiring but then, he didn't have anything else to go on. He didn't know the other male not yet but perhaps, that was all about to change.
