As she followed, she kept thinking about her outburst. Sure, she missed the old Skid, but she wasn't going to stop loving him. She had just been shocked by the change. Once they got to the crevice, it opened up. Her eyes looked a bit shocked, she thought she knew the caverns, apparently not as well as she thought. Watching Skid, she watched carefully. Expecting him to get one of the flowers he didn't, instead, he walked to the other side.

When he nodded to the place beside him, she stood at the entrance for a moment before she willed her paws to move towards him. Once she had, she lowered her rump to the ground but didn't lay down til he was finished speaking. She opened her maw, "I'll stay here Skid for a while, but if I hear those males I won't hesitate to go and do to them what they did to me." her words came out calmly.

Unexpectedly, she scooted closer, curling into his fur to match his form. Bringing her head up next to look at him. Then put her maw close to his ear, "No matter how different you are, no matter if you are emotionless or on the verge of killing me, I will always love you, no matter what." she half whispered in his ear. Which the was true, she would always love him. Licking his cheek once, she snuggled more into his fur and layed her head down.
