Llorana goes quiet and I lean toward her, wondering if something's wrong. Meanwhile the meeting starts to liven up some with the arrival of Queens' newest brood. I watch the three puppies closely. The female has some spunk to her but the male is quiet, too quiet. He gets more and more aggressive the more time draws on and the female only eggs him on. She keeps speaking up for him, volunteering him for the hunt when it looks like that's the last thing he wants to do. I don't know whether to be concerned or amused. I tilt my head, merely observant but then distraction heads my way. Mother. I know her scent the minute it hits my nostrils. My tail arches up, my ears pricking as I turn to see where everyone else is looking. Arcadian looks stunned, Kazier exuberant as the black and brown demoness approaches. My own tail waves, a smile tugging at my lips as I dip my head to her in greeting. "Welcome back, mother."
