her house sinks down to death and her course leads to the shades,
Oh, who was she to resist such a temptation? It had been too great to ignore, too difficult to satisfy in any other way other than dragging his small form from his den, dragging it across the land and bringing him home. A gift, she figured, not only for herself but for Andras and Ishtar who the male had wronged too. Small as he might have been but oh, he would make a fantastic feast. Iblis, though for everyone, was first and foremost for herself. She'd not forgotten what he had done to her - she still bore the punctures over her skull, ugly, puckered things that they were. Her foot, too, remained somewhat fur-less and pink from her obsessive cleaning of the wounds that had become ugly, puckered scars. They were unforgivable atrocities but the greatest of them all had been his reluctance to die and his eventual escape. Little brat.
Still, there was no greater pleasure than being so utterly in control, his squirming form beneath her. She was so close. She could feel the blood beneath his skin, the pounding of his heart, see the flesh over his aged wounds splitting. It would have been easy to simply reach down and grasp his throat, crushing down until that satisfactory pop echoed out but no, it was much more fun to toy, to play and savor ever moment with her rag doll. It had been only moments before the arrival of the dark, larger female that she'd lifted her muzzle to the sky, calling out for any and all that might have wanted a piece of their Queen's attacker and enemy in war. Then, she lowered her muzzle to his ear, moving her paw so that she might place it atop his head, pushing down and preventing him from any silly attempts at biting.
"Why fight for a pack when you have no others to protect you?"
She genuinely wished for an answer and perhaps that was what made it all the more ironic that another shot out from behind her, a dark shadow in Lillith's furthermost peripherals. A deep growl rumbled in her own chest as she tuned to face she who approached, her lips curling up over her lips as she met the female's gaze. Even as she moved forward, Lillith held her position, bracing herself for impact. Some small part of her knew she had never been alone in the field for no sooner than the girl had begun to charge forward did the lithe form of Paldor emerge, shouting and demanding answers but no, no, it was not him that drew her attention. It was Andras who moved like a freight train, charging forward in a powerful display of anger and brute strength - it brought a sinister smile to Lillith's face as she threw her rear end around, pivoting so as to pull herself just out of reach. Not once did she move from atop Iblis, ensuring she could replant her weight atop him once more, her paw seeking to push down between his shoulder blades, pressing him further into the snow.
"Tell her to stop."
She spoke to Iblis and possibly Paldor, panting lightly in excitement as her heart raced, the display of Andras having excited her even further for what was to come.
"Or you'll lose your tongue and she'll lose her face."
She directed the first part to the male, once more lowering her muzzle closer to his ear and yet, the rest had been directed at Andras as her eyes sought him out. He would know what to do and he would do it damn well, he was sure. She couldn't help but wonder why the female had come charging into the the fray and yet, she had seen something similar all too often. Dante, Andras, even herself. There were some things that were stronger than the bonds of mate ship and she couldn't help but wonder...
Again, she lowered down to Iblis' level, running her tongue across the fresh blood that marked his pelt and trailing it over him so that she might like his muzzle. Feigned affection, her lips pulling into a smug smile before she rolled her tongue across her muzzle. She spoke then to Paldor, shifting her weight further onto Iblis with her tail waving excitedly behind her.
"Tell the Queen, tell whomever you find, that I have brought us dinner. I have brought Ishtar her attacker from so long ago."
If none others came then so be it - Iblis would be hers and the girls would become Andras'. Let them enjoy the spoils of war.
