Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Caligula patrols the area, still trying to dedicate as much of Glorall as she could through the snow and the sharp sea breezes. Her stomach was growing and there was little doubt that Tesseract had once again proven his virility. It had been a long time since she had seen Roach or her Ex. The smallish, bug eyed wolf had amused her with her simple emotions and the wiggling. Roach, her brother had called her, and he had inquired about Caligula's name. It was Roach that came up with Ixodes. Caligula was also rather amused by that nickname. Sometimes, when traveling alone through the crater she imagined what it would be like to be someone other than herself. Ixodes. Not that she regretted any aspect of her life. It was just nice to get a break from the screaming girls and the whining that they did when they decided they could not get along with each other.

Anyways, she was on patrol, watching before the sight of Roach caused her to freeze in her place. As she approached, she tried to move to block the sun from Roach's eyes. She had noticed the sun sensitivity on the previous encounter and thus tried to be a good friend. It was hard for Caligula. In general she was attracted to the more feral, the more vicious of wolves in Moladion merely because she understood them better. Still there was something that attracted her to the girl before her. Perhaps it was that she understood the codependency on a brother. Caligula would be nothing without her Tesseract. Would Roach be nothing without her Ex? She would see.

She postures to show that these were her lands. Her ears pricked forward and her tail was rigid save for a soft sway of greeting. It was not as formal as it had been for other wolves. Caligula doubted that Roach was anything to really worry about in terms of challenging her position but it was new and Caligula needed to reaffirm it. She then reaches out and nudges Roach in a playful manner with that tail wagging a little bit faster.
