Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Angel in the Dark

Zeteri hated winter. Snow fell down from the thick gray clouds above as she walked alone towards the large field. Heavy, white spots littered her goat of gold and onyx which seemed to cause her to stand out even more against the bright white of the winter. It wasn't just because she was such an obvious predator in the colder season that made the female wolf hate it so. It was the memories it brought with it that caused Zeteri to huff with annoyance. That had been the past and she had grown up since then. Zeteri was stronger and wiser than her puppy self from so many years ago. When your world falls apart and you are forced from a life of luxury, you learn really quick how to survive. And that is just what happened. Zeteri, the once princess of Paracon, had learned to survive on her own and even though she now called Glorall her home she was still a bit of a loner. Thus the reason she was here now.

Prey had become scares in the pack of water and with some wolves getting heavy with pups it wasn't easy to find food nearby. Zeteri was hungry and without child so she could leave and hunt for herself just fine. Sure, it was a selfish thought, but in order to live sometimes you just had to be selfish. The dark wolf wasn't mean at heart, she was actually quite pleasant once you got used to her. However, she could be brash and rude but it was only how she handled strangers. There was a deeper, loving side to Zeteri that not many saw. It was more childish and innocent. There was a sudden sound that caused Zeteri to shift from her aimless wanderings and gaze at the dark forests surrounding the fields. She stopped with her ears held forward, twitching at the slightest sounds, and her golden eyes gazing into the darkness as the snow fell around her. A deep growl echoed in her throat suddenly and without warning as a feeling of danger washed over here. Someone or something was watching her from the shadows. Zeteri stood still, but she was on guard and waiting for whatever it was to show themselves. Why else would they let her know they were there?
