Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

If I Look Back I Am Lost

_________________________________________________________________________

Daenerys was careful and somewhat hesitant about approaching the two wolves, not wanting to get herself into a dangerous situation when she was alone. She had not even told anyone where she was going so no one would be out looking for her if something were to happen. She showed no fear while approaching the strangers, not feeling any fear either, but a little hesitant. Snow continued to fall steadily onto her thin pelt, making her shiver in the cold. She did not realize how cold it would be out here, and she had only heard of snow, never actually experiencing before.

As Daenerys stepped out of the trees she saw the female that was guarding the cave scramble to a sitting position, but did not aggressively, something Daenerys was glad to see. The femme introduced herself to the stranger, wondering why the brute was staying inside the cave. The new ess answered, "Hello Daenerys. My name is Meera. I'm sorry, but I have not seen any other caves so far. Our traveling has not taken us very far yet and the storm ruined any chance we had of finding another today. You can share with us if you wish. There is plenty of room." Daenerys appreciated the offer but was hesitant to accept not knowing the two wolves and putting herself into an even more vulnerable position.

Before Daenerys could respond a scuffling and snorting sound was coming from the cave and Daenerys pricked her ears up in concern, trying to figure out what was going on, when Meera gave her an apologetic look, grabbed a stick, and ran into the cave. Now the gray femme was really confused now, what could be happening inside that required Meera to need a stick to take care of it? Daenerys didn’t want to snoop so she sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws, trying to keep some heat in her cold bodice as she shivered again.

After a few moments Meera came back out from inside the cave, followed by the brute a moment later. He seemed startled to see another lupine outside as he came out, “Oh. Hello.” Daenerys saw Meera shake her head as she spoke for the brute, "You'll have to forgive my brother. He's just had an umm... Traumatic experience if you can call it that. If you do decide to stay, don't worry if you hear that. It's a regular occurrence. How rude of me. Sorry. This is my little brother Jojen. Jojen, Daenerys. Daenerys, Jojen." "A pleasure Daenerys." Jojen nodded a greeting and Daenerys smiled back in return, glad that both of the wolves were friendly. “Hello Meera, Jojen, it is nice to meet you two. Is there anything I can do to help the situation? I was taught a small amount about herbs and healing from a friend in my pack, Saw Tooth.” As she spoke the wind picked up and the sky grew darker, making the snow come down heavier and the air grow colder. Daenerys’ pelt was getting damp now from the snow. The offer that Meera had given seemed more tempting now that she knew they were not hostile. “Maybe we should move back inside before the storm gets worse?” She did not want to be pushy, hoping that the offer was still available.
