Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Hold on just a little longer
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

There was a definite chill in the air. With every step it seemed to get colder. The snow glistened in the light of the day. Paw prints by other wolves were visible one minute and the next they vanished in one gust of the ice cold wind. The mist seemed to disguise the blue sky up above. But that was the least of Karamat's worries.

The tiny grey wolf pup forced herself to go on. The snow was getting on the deep side. It had already touched her underbelly. As it made contact with her skin, she trembled slightly. The chill seemed ever so bitter on such a small pup. A gust of cold wind blew in her face, forcing her to close her eyes that already watered from the cold air. Her ears pinned back to her skull as the cold was causing her to receive quite an earache. Yet, she kept on going, determined to show Spyro that she didn't need any help.

"Are we n-n-nearly t-t-to the t-t-top yet?" She asked through her chattering teeth.

It was then that the pup slipped on a patch of ice and fell face first into the snow. It was so cold that a tiny yelp escaped her maw. Her fur coat puffed itself up in the cold. That wasn't the most impressive thing to do. Especially when Karamat was trying to show her inner strength. Nevertheless, the pup managed to stand without any assistance. She shook the snow off of her pelt and resumed walking. Yet she still trembled from the cold. To keep her self going Karamat sang her mother's lullaby out loud, in a rather gentle singing voice.

"I feel a chill in the air,
Knowing his eyes are there,
My pups do not fear,
For I am always here,

A pelt as black as night,
And a mind filled with spite,
He asked me to end three pups lives,
Tonight...

Though his seed helped,
to create life,
He cast a shadow on his wife,
And vowed to end it his self"
