Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

The multi-hued girl felt quite sneaky, she decided. Somehow, by some amount of luck -thankfully Karma had stayed out of this. Cal just knew she was waiting to get her back for all her pranks- she had managed to sneak away from Diveen. What with the war being won and everyone coming back home from the battlefield, it was quite easy for one pup to make a speedy exit. It wasn't as if she wasn't happy, ecstatic really, that her father came home, she was. It was just that she was bored. Diveen, for its amount of wolves and pups, was boring. Same faces, same places, same, same, same. If she didn't leave soon she'd go stir crazy, die, or end up killing her brother. Whichever struck her as a good idea at the time. She didn't think Mako dying would go over particularly well, and dying didn't didn't seem much fun. Neither did going crazy, mind you. So she opted to escape and head to the woodlands before she'd get caught. Momma will probably notice, but it was totally worth it given the alternatives.

And now here she was. Strolling leisurely the forest like she done it all her life, eager for excitement and action. She was a gangly thing, with too big paws and too much energy not to be clumsy with them, but she paid it no mind. Hopefully she'd grow into her limbs and not be such a klutz when she got older. She had to be. She wanted to either be a Scout with aspirations for the Warriors or an Assassin apprentice, preferably under Heyel. If she chose the path of Warrior, she wanted maybe to be in a Guard, the King or Queen's, it did not matter. If she chose Assassin, her aspiration was to be one of the Silent Knives. Whichever one she chose, though, she wanted to be the best she could be. She didn't particularly care about rank, she just wanted to be the best at what she was. If Warrior, she'd be the best Warrior. If Assassin, she'd be the best Assassin. If she got promoted, it was only icing on the proverbial cake.

She heard the commotion of the attack not far away, the smell of groundhog blood hitting her a few seconds before the scream. She changed course and sped up her pace, not running because she heard the sounds of squabbling. Not attack-squabbling, but more like squabbling over prey, the hog blood adding more weight to the latter theory. She may be a pup but that didn't mean she was no less worried about others, wouldn't do anything and everything she could to help.

She came upon the two pups, one a brown color, the other darker, more a gray-ish black color. They were indeed squabbling over the hog, one of the few that had managed to stay fat this far into winter. She'd have thunk it would scrawny by now, most were, after all. She sat a little ways away, content to let them fight and eat until they noticed her, and judging by the growl they had. While Diveen may be boring, pack life did have it's advantages. She wasn't full, but she wasn't hungry either, this in part due to the fact she'd taken precious moments to scavenge off a half-frozen carcass before she got too far into Enocra. She pricked her ears, not deterred by the growls and their bigger size. They appeared to be about 2 years, making them about double her age. She was a leggy thing, so she was close their size as well. While they may be bigger, she was fast and wouldn't hesitate to run. After she'd made a few attacks of her own, of course. Just because there were two didn't mean she'd back down immediately. She knew it was foolish, but she wasn't one to flee.

She gave a friendly smile, the blood and gore not phasing her in the slightest as it might other pups, females especially. She didn't like how most females, or at least how some saw them, were seen as simpering and vulnerable. She thought this might be behind some of her ambition to be a blood spiller, but she didn't mind. It would give her more reason to work to be the best, to show others that she could fight and kill just as well as any male.

"Hello," The admittedly odd girl said brightly, hoping that maybe the two gore-splattered brothers could become her friends. And even if they didn't, if they didn't have a home she'd bring them back to Diveen. At least offer, if they didn't want too.
