At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Blizzard watched the waves lap at the shore with a blank expression, his eyes clouded over with a far away look. At the moment he was lost deep in thoughts and memories, most were fuzzy and tinted in the dark shade of red, also known as anger, others painfully clear. Though his breathing was slow and deep, his heart rate thumped hard against his chest. The memory that he was currently lost in was one that was permanently edged into his brain. The day he had killed his brother, storm. It was oh so painfully clear and vivid that to him it seemed like he was there again. The stench of blood filling his nostrils as he stood over the limp form of his brother, the anger slowly fading from him in exchange for terror and guilt. The taste of salty iron stuck to his tongue as his harsh breathing quickened, and he turned and fled. He remembered the thoughts racing through his mind as he ran. He remembered when he heard the angered howl of his packmates as they found his brothers dead body. He remembered the steady pound of pawsteps as they chased after him, and he remembered when they caught him, there fangs burying into his skin... He shivered violently as the memory slowly faded to black. That was all he remembered from his past, the rest was just a blur. Blizzard's eyes came into focus again as they lost there clouded look, instead being replaced by a flurry of emotions. Anger, guilt, agony, misery... Madness. His ears perked forward and he lifted his gaze from the waves to the wolves playing in them. He glared, his fur bristling as he watched them splash and play. Carefree. A quiet growl rumbled from his chest, but he was to far away from any other for it to be heard. He was sitting in the shadows at the tree line, though his pure white pelt made him very noticeable. The sun was shining bright and and there wasn't a dark cloud in the sky, which annoyed him to no end. He liked it dark, for it far more suited his mood then the bright sunny day. He licked his chops and realized his throat was parched, amazingly so. For he hadn't drank anything in day, even though he had been by the lake for all those days. He didnt really want to go out amongst others, it made him feel exposed, weak. But he was highly dehydrated, and his survival instincts took over. He got up from his spot and padded out towards the lake, into the open. Blizzard reached the lakes edge and stepped into into the cool water, soaking his front paws. He lowered his snout to the water and lapped at it greedily, his eyes closing momentarily as he focused on the water sliding down his throat.
