Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Matoaka's blue pools warmed as her laughed. She took comfort in being able to invoke that reactions from others. Laughter offered many pleasures and mostly had a positive affect on many. Her head dipped low in a nod to his offered, cheers, bringing it back up to where it started. Pushing her snow paws outward, she stretched, then pushing her body up to sit before him.

Flecked head tilted to the side as he spoke, she was glad he chose to continue the conversation. Wandering around was good an all, but she found herself glad to have someone to talk to. Someone with an intellect wasn't half bad either. She listend as her asked her about hobbies, what she liked to do in her free time. She thought about this for a moment, her maw twisting to form a kinda of universal 'thinking' face. She never thought about it much before. She knew there had to be things she liked, but it was all situational. She was sure there was things she liked to do as a pup, you know, pup stuff, but damned if she couldn't remember it. She didn't want to bring up, oh woa is my past again. That just wouldn't be in good taste for a new forming, possible, friendship.

Matoaka smiled, a nice warm smile. One she learned that then came natural to her once she was confortable in her own skin amongst those around her. She was tough on the outside, and a mix of intelligent thinker in her mind, but her soul, despite all the crap, was warm. A characteristic she always felt came from within, like it was merged in the blood to her very core. Something she hoped would earn her the knowledge of who her family was, maybe "Who Am I" would follow

She straight her posture, looking back at him, the tilt back in her head. "There are many nice things I like to do. It may seem strange, but I appreciate intellectual conversation, like this one. Exploring, in any form from walking to running. You know......Long walk, poking dead things with a stick." She chuckled. "I think I like a lot of things, some I don't think about, I just do. I think I just overall try to be happy and surround myself with that. Helps keep the internal demons at bay."

She said that for both of their benfits, but hoped it wasn't that obvious. Being able to read people, she noticed that sometimes, even while talking, he was thinking about what appeared to her, as internal conflicts. Which is fine, no judgments, because she was fighting with her own at the same pace. She liked this wolf, she felt the urge to absorb all his internal fights so he didn't have to worry anymore. The warm expression didn't waver on her face, but she did laugh at herself internally and wondering what about this 'pup' who clearly held a vibe of strength and capability, made her want to bond and help. Life of the intellectual fae I guess.
