Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Though it had been months since the war Chance could not seem to get the traitorous thoughts from his mind. He was a failure. As a mate, as a protector, as a confident. Spider had not trusted him. She had gone on her own to destroy a ghost that had haunted both Diveen and Trenus.

And now, she was forever gone. He would no longer have a mother for his boys, a wolf to come home to after patrols. Making his depression worse, during the war he couldn't make it to Ava, his own soul. His soul had been injured and yet he did nothing. He sought no revenge, he was nothing. He had failed everyone. Head hung low he walked out of Diveen.

Shame, it was all he seemed to be filled with. Giant paws found themselves at the fields. His molten eyes stared empty at the beauty of the spring. He was falling and tearing himself apart. His children were depressed and revenge ridden. He had failed his brother when Ruvindra managed to get a hold of Isola and when Haedes attacked Kane.

His father was an empty shell. Kiska had disappeared and Natalya wasn't forgiving him. Everything was falling to ruin, Spider was dead and Chance was snapped like a broken record. He lays in the soft grass alone. Would he forever remain lost in his emptiness, in his loneliness? How long could this horrid depression last?
