Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Corde

”They won’t hurt you sis, I’ll look after you.” She nodded with a rare smile on her features, pretending the fear that ate away at her heart like it was a delicacy did not exist. After all, she loved her brother dearly, but how could he protect her and himself? She'd rather die whatever death they planned for her than see her brother hurt in even the slightest.

Her fears voiced about this thing called "snow", were also quickly dismissed by her brother. ”Corde. Nothing will hurt you while I am here, promise. I want to play.” She stepped gingerly forward, scrunching her face slightly as she waited to be dragged down below the surface of white and strangled to death. When this did not happen, she stepped again, looking once more to her brother as he danced around. "Come on Corde.” Experimentally, she dabbled at the alabaster stuff, stargazers widening in amazement. It was so...beautiful. Why couldn't she be beautiful and free like the snow?

As her father spoke, she followed silently as she continued to watch the landscape with appreciation. She liked this place, despite the way the frost nipped at her little body. It was like a fairytale, and the white seemed to chase away the darkness, for now anyway. She giggled as her father, soon after leading them to safety, dove into the snow playfully, and in celebration of such an unheard of sound from the little girl, playfully continued to dabble in the mush, not quite daring to leap in like her father figure.

"Hallo? Herr Kyron?" Her paw froze mid-action. That voice...that voice seemed familiar, and it did not belong to anyone in her family. Her terror only increased as her mother tensed instantly, a vicious snarl escaped her maw. “Corde, Felan, in the cave, NOW!” She glanced wildly at her mothers form in front of her, blocking her view from whatever demon approached them. Corde froze up like the ground beneath her, eyes that had contained little joy only a few seconds ago, now glazed over with fear. “What do you want Ludwig, why are you here?” Bad, bad, bad! Her mind screamed at her as she inhaled sharply, her breath rattling in her chest. Ludwig is a BAD wolf.

”Who are you? Leave us alone!” Her brothers comforting smile and snarl at the strangers did nothing to calm her; in fact, it made her heart race even faster than earlier as a deep-set panicked occurred in her chest. They'll kill him and your beautiful snow will run red. With a barely audible cry, she lunged forward, her weaker form slamming into her brothers, and, with any luck, taking him to the ground, her small ivories buried in his scruff to hold him beneath her, hidden from the view of these evil wolves. Too late, damage done. A small realisation hit her; she'd now definitely be visible to whoever was out there, no matter what the outcome of her little 'attack'. Her heart caught in her chest, as her shaking cranium raised to peer past her mother, with any luck meeting the eyes of the would-be assailants.

Walking.
"Talking."

Once I was an angel;
a dark angel, yes,
but an angel
all the same.
I helped people.
I loved people.
But even angels
can be broken.
Now,
I'm nothing more
Than a shadow.
