Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Many things, she had missed out with Eric over the previous years because of her ignorance and misunderstanding, but she would not let their past hinder them now.

She felt truly alive at his side now, her heart swelling with the joy of being able to see him, feel him, smell him once more. It was intoxicating and she could not deny that there were urges that were not present ever before; perhaps she can blame it solely on the season. But she cannot lie to herself that it is what she truly wants. What is life with a mate if they do not procreate? It is written into the very blood flowing through her system, a necessity within her being. Yet not this season, no. She will cherish him all to herself for the time being, soaking in every moment that she is able to spend with him and giving it all right back. There will not be a wasted second of time when she is with him this time around, she would not allow it.

His words were soft as he called to her before leading the way as the pair descended the embankment and made their way towards the forest. Maybe a bit of naivety still lingered in the nine year old as she did not notice the strange look in Eric's eyes as he regarded her, she only returned him a sweet smile as they moved along in sync, eager to find a place to curl up with him more than anything.

Their path lead them straight into the forest where her eyes were searching diligently for the perfect space to spend with him in this winter paradise. Just a few paces further and she discovered an old den beneath a shield of flat boulders, providing the perfect space for the two of them to lay within and find their privacy. She nudged him once with her muzzle before jogging forward as she investigated the place, it had not been inhabited for quite some time now, the scent of bear very faint on the surface of the rock and around the den site. "It is perfect." She spoke with a smile as she looked back to him. "Come.. tell me about your travels." She entered the den as her words trailed, it was quite large, certainly enough room for the two of them to move about in. "I've missed you so. I cannot stop saying it.." Her voice was soft, almost embarrassed to admit such a thing, but it was a truth.
