Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Chickadee wasn't entirely sure how to process all of this information. She wasn't sure what to say. She had never been good with words, but now more than ever she felt so acutely the emptiness within her as she searched for the magic words that would make everything alright again.

She listened attentively as Jagger explained what it was like to be around him. Her eyes were bright at the beginning of her friend's description, but by the end her ears had fallen back and her face was clouded with confusion.

"I.. I don't know.." She shifted a little, moving her front feet like an awkward teenager shuffling through her first dance. Her round face tilted up at Jagger, eyes searching her sister's face. A question loomed heavy in her mind, and it was apparent for a moment that she was struggling with the idea of asking or not.

Finally, creasing her brows, she asked; "What is it you dislike about him?"

She didn't mean to be rude; but she and Jagger were close. It wasn't as if she needed to go stepping on eggshells. By now, Chicky knew that her sister would not mind such a blunt inquiry; they were not strangers anymore, after all.

Still, Chickadee could tell that the whole subject was uncomfortable for Jagger. Part of her yearned to understand more, to ask a thousand questions and still not be satisfied... while another part of her simply wanted to turn the subject to something happier, and distract Jagger from her pain.
